Terms & Conditions
In these Terms and Conditions, the words "we" or "us" means Tamworth City Motel and its employees, officers, agents, suppliers and vendors, and use of the words "you" or "guest(s)/Guest(s)" means any and all persons for whom a Motel room is booked.
Bookings may be made via email at email@example.com or via call at +02 6766 1088.
Full payment must be made at the time of booking. We accept payment by Visa or Mastercard credit/debit cards, Paypal, Alipay or online bank transfers for most of our Motel. The available payment options are displayed during the booking process on our Almond Inn Motel Website. No payment processing fee apply. For walk-in bookings at a Motel, we also accept cash payments.
Once your booking has been successfully completed, a Booking Confirmation will be issued in respect of each room booked and sent to the email address provided in your registered account. You MUST produce your Booking Confirmation(s) upon check-in at the Motel, together with your original valid photo identification document (national registration identity card, passport, driver's licence or other identification card or document as the Motel may require). If you do not receive your Booking Confirmation(s) within twenty-four (24) hours from the time of booking, please contact us via the Almond Inn Motel email or call.
Credit card bookings made within five (5) days prior to check-in date will require presentation of the credit card used for payment of the booking during check-in. Failure to do so may delay your check-in process.
At all times during the booking process, you will be advised to ensure the accuracy of your booking details (guest details, stay dates, room types, room rates, number of guest(s), Add-Ons). Almond Inn Motel will not be responsible or liable for errors in booking details.
Bookings are accepted subject to room availability.
2. Room Rates
Room rates shown on the Almond Inn Motel Website are charged on a per room per night basis. Breakfast will not be included. Room rates and details are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change without notice.
3. Almond Inn Motel Rules
Almond Inn Motel practices a strict NO SMOKING policy in all Motel Rooms. Smoking is prohibited in any part of indoor, including but not limited to Motel rooms. Failure to comply with this policy shall entitles us to terminate your booking and stay at the Motel at our sole discretion and you must leave the Motel immediately without compensation or reimbursement. You shall be liable for any costs, loss or damage to the Motel room, premises or property, or incurred by Motel guests or third party, arising from your failure to comply with this policy and Almond Inn Motel reserves the right to charge you for any such costs, loss or damage incurred by Almond Inn Motel or any Motel guests or third party.
For Motels in Australia, daily room cleaning (excluding Sundays and Public Holidays) is available subject to the following terms. Linen change only for Guests staying more than two (2) consecutive nights and will be changed on the third (3rd) day of stay (if this falls on a Sunday or a Public Holiday, linen change will occur the day after). No housekeeping will be provided if the “Do Not Disturb” indicator is displayed.
You may not bring the following into our Motels:
pets (except for registered guide dogs) or livestock
any electrical appliances and/or equipment for heating and/or cooking purposes
Almond Inn Motel reserves the right to remove and/or confiscate any of the above items found in any Motel room immediately without notice to you and to charge you for any costs incurred for taking such action or for any loss or damage caused to the Motel room, premises or property or to any Motel guests or third party as a result of your failure to comply with this policy.
Booked rooms will be held for check-in until 9.00 am the following day of the scheduled check-in date, after which the booking will be deemed cancelled upon no-show and Almond Inn Motel shall be entitled to release the booked room(s) for the remaining stay dates to other guests. No refunds will be provided for the cancelled booking.
A refundable key card deposit may be required upon check-in at Motel to cover loss or damage of the key card issued. (Please refer to the Fee Schedule).
If you check-out beyond the stipulated time at the Motel of your stay, Almond Inn Motel reserves the right, without further notice to you, to charge you an additional one (1) night's stay at the then prevailing room rate or remove your belongings into the luggage storage facility (luggage storage charges may apply) and deny you further access into the room. Almond Inn Motel shall not be liable for any loss or damage to your belongings as a result of the action(s) taken.
Luggage storage is available only for guests currently staying with the Motel to store their luggage or other personal belongings before check-in or after check-out, at the Motel’s option.
You use the Motel luggage storage facilities at your own risk. Almond Inn Motel will not be responsible for loss of or damage to the luggage, the contents therein or your personal belongings (including any valuables, even if we have been advised) during storage or during the disposal process however caused and you hereby release Almond Inn Motel from any liability in respect thereof.
You are liable for any damage howsoever caused to the allocated room(s) or to the Motel premises or property caused by you or any persons in your party (whether or not staying at the Motel) during your stay. Almond Inn Motel reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details and charge or debit such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem fit on the said card(s) to compensate or make good the loss, damage, costs or expenses incurred or suffered by Almond Inn Motel as a result of the aforesaid. Regardless, Almond Inn Motel further reserves the right to commence legal proceedings against you without notice.
Right to Refuse Accommodation
Almond Inn Motel reserves the right to refuse accommodation to you or any person(s) without any notice and terminate any booking without being liable for any refund or compensation for the following reasons
the booking has been paid through fraudulent means
the booking has been altered by anyone other than Almond Inn Motel's authorised agent or has been tampered with or the Booking Confirmation has been defaced (in which case Almond Inn Motel reserves the right to retain such booking documentation)
the person checking in is not or cannot prove that he/she is the person named in the Booking Confirmation
as permitted under the provisions of these Terms and Conditions
4. Privacy & Data Protection
Almond Inn Motel will retain all personal information you provide during booking. By making a booking with us or using the Almond Inn Motel Website, you consent to our use and/or disclosure of your personal details to our franchisees, branches, related corporations, associates, subsidiaries, affiliates, assignees, proposed assignees, agents, commercial partners, service providers and/or any other parties engaged by us to enable or assist us in the provision of services or to exercise or enforce our rights hereunder and/or any other party as Almond Inn Motel may, in our sole and absolute discretion, deem necessary for the following purposes:
to process your booking and for other administrative purposes
to provide you customer support and services
to send you information on products and services, and special or promotional offers, newsletters or customer survey forms and questionnaires. You may unsubscribe from these at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe link” on the relevant email communications.
We may also be legally obliged to disclose, and you irrevocably consent to our disclosing, your personal information to government and enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies and public authorities or as may be required by law. This may involve sending your personal information between different countries.
We accept the following methods of payment: credit cards: MasterCard; Visa; debit cards - Visa/Delta and Visa/Electron.
At the time of check-in we will authorise the accommodation charges (room rate, VAT and any service charge) and anticipated incidentals for the duration of your stay against your credit/debit card. We may also choose to accept a deposit in place of payment card authorisation by another valid form of payment, including cash or cheque.
The cancellation policy varies according to the rate that is booked. Please refer to the individual full rate descriptions given at booking.
Depending on whether it was through a our own website, hotel booking websites or over the phone, cancellation policies will vary.
When you booked your hotel directly from the hotel you have two options.
1. If you booked your hotel directly from the hotel through an ordinary program or over the phone, at a normal rate, you will be able to cancel your hotel reservation 72 hours before your arrival date and will get back most of the amount you paid or won't be charged if you haven't paid yet. This usually is the easy case.
2. If you booked your motel as an advanced purchase on a discount rate then Canceling are not allowed. We require full prepayment for the entire stay at the time of the Booking and this is non-refundable and the Booking non-changeable. Prepayment is charged to the credit/debit card supplied at the time of the Booking. Cancellation or non-arrival will result in the forfeiture of the prepayment.
