We are a family owned and operated motel, being a 3 minute walk from the Main Hub of Fairlie, it is an ideal base to stay while you explore the many attractions Tekapo and the Mackenzie region has to offer. After you check in you are free to relax and enjoy the peace and Beauty of our local surroundings. I will ensure your stay is a comfortable one and we are happy to answer any questions you may have about things to see and do in our slice of Paradise.
Aorangi Motel is just 200 m from the Geraldine-Fairlie Highway. We are a short drive from Lake Tekapo , A 40 minute drive to the Top of Mt Dobson ski field and 1.15 to the top of Roundhill Ski field. Timaru Airport is 54 km away. We offer corporate rates and can discuss long stay rates.
We have 7 of rooms available, 4 two bedroom units, 2 one bedroom units and a studio unit. All one and two bedroom units feature under floor heating, all units have a fully equipped kitchenette with a ceramic hobs, there is separate lounge areas in all units, each includes a separate bathroom with a shower, Parking is provided outside all units for all guests, there are small outdoor seating areas for the units. All units have fast free unlimited WiFi. Please note no longer Sky tv
BBQ avaliable for those summer night dinners. A guest laundry with washing machine and dryer is available.

Reception office is open from 8.30am. Check in is from 2pm.
Check ins are from 2pm daily.
Check out is STRICTLY by 10am.
Cooking Odors:
Please consider following guests and refrain from cooking any foods with strong smelling odor including fish, and strong smelling authentic foods. Cooking these foods will incur a charge to remove odor, including loss of occupancy
Smoking:
ALL UNITS ARE NON SMOKING, Smoking in units WILL incure $150.00 charge.
Additional Information
As a condition of booking you accept responsibility for and agree to pay for any damages, additional cleaning costs, excess rubbish or strong odours due to cooking incurred by yourself or your group during your stay. By accepting these terms and conditions you authorise the debit of the credit card provided at the time of booking to recover any outstanding charge.

Cancellation Policy

No charges will be incurred if cancellation is notified to establishment 48 hours BEFORE the date of arrival.
If the booking is cancelled after this time the management may charge the total amount for the booked accommodation
