This booking is for the whole cottage including 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 4 guests.

Sunset Cottage originally housed the assistant lighthouse keepers.

This cottage sleeps up to 4 people in two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed with pillow top. Our guests love our beds so much that some have even asked where we purchased them! Each bedroom has storage for clothing.

The cottage also has a modern fully equipped kitchen, including stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker and appliances.

Breakfast supplies will be found here; a choice of breakfast cereals and spreads, bread for toast, eggs and bacon. Milk, tea and coffee are supplied.

Your bathroom has a deep luxurious bath and separate shower. Our towels are large and soft. We pay attention to detail such as providing individual dental flossettes, cotton buds and toiletries.

In the lounge are two leather couches facing an open fireplace. The fire will be set for you with extra firewood for long winter nights. In front of the fire you can watch the large flat screen television or your choice of DVD. Instead if you choose you can assemble a jigsaw puzzle or play cards or games.

You may instead choose to read your own book or magazine, or one supplied by us. There is a small sunroom in which to sit, or of course the lounge-room.

Laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer) are also found in your cottage.

We moved this 1950’s weatherboard cottage onto the site a few years ago. Originally our caretaker had intended to live here, but he instead decided to move into Portland, and so we decided to transform it into additional accommodation. The cottage is completely different to the heritage listed buildings on site. There is a definite feel that this cottage is more like a beach house.

The cottage has an open plan lounge and kitchen. The modern fully equipped kitchen has a stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker and appliances.

Breakfast supplies will be found here; a choice of breakfast cereals and spreads, bread for toast, eggs and bacon. Milk, tea and coffee are supplied.

Head Keepers Cottage (2 Bedrooms) Book

This booking is for the whole cottage including 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 4 guests.

This cottage housed the Head Lighthouse Keeper. It was thus larger and a little more comfortable. We think of it as “the jewel in the crown” of our cottages.

We added a sheltered courtyard, a spa and a large sunroom to the amenities in this cottage.

We decided to divide this larger cottage into two; the main Head Lighthouse Keeper’s Cottage and the Annexe. The two are connected by a doorway (two doors insulated so that noise does not transmit).

Guests are able to stay in both with the doorway opened or stay in one or the other.

In the main cottage, the modern fully equipped kitchen has a stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker and appliances.

Breakfast supplies will be found here; a choice of breakfast cereals and spreads, bread for toast, eggs and bacon. Milk, tea and coffee are supplied.

The Annexe is the extension of the Head Lighthouse Keeper’s cottage. It can be opened to the main cottage. The two are connected by a doorway (two doors insulated so that noise does not transmit).

The Annexe is also perfect for couples who wish to stay in a smaller more intimate cottage.

The cottage houses a lounge room, bedroom kitchen and bathroom.

In the compact kitchen there is a stove and combination microwave/convection oven. A coffee maker is provided.

All cooking and dining needs are here.
