Craggy Peaks is located in the picturesque Fingal Valley, under the southern side of Ben Lomond.

15 fully self-contained serviced units nestled among the trees. Each share breathtaking views of Stacks Bluff and the Ben Lomond National Park.

Getting Around - There is no public transport close to the site. Every cabin has its own car parking space. Most guests bring their own car.

Other Things to Note - You will need to bring your own food. We do not cater and the nearest shop is 25km away.

The Location - Beautiful and peaceful bush setting with magnificent views, bush-walks and flowing streams. Craggy Peaks is in the historic Fingal Valley in North East Tasmania.

Guest Access - Washing machines and dryers are located in the reception building. All cabins have a phone and LAN internet access. WiFi internet is available in the reception building.

Guest Interaction - We interact with you as much or as little as you wish. We are on site 24/7 for security and emergencies. Reception hours are from 9.00 am to 5:00 pm.

The Neighbourhood - We love the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere at Craggy Peaks. The site is an old golf course and there are many bush-walks in the local area. All the streams have trout in them and there are numerous scenic drives in the area.

Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to The Jan Cameron Trust and all of its trading entities, a full copy of which can be found on our website www.tasshacks.com.au.
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings for the provision of accommodation made with The Jan Cameron Trust, either directly or via a third party. By making a booking for accommodation, guests warrant that they have read these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them, subject to such changes as are notified to them. If the booking for accommodation is made through a third party, the terms and conditions of that third party also apply.
• All accommodation is provided subject to availability.
• Rates quoted are per property per night.
• If your party consists of a greater number than has been allowed for in the booking (including infants), then we reserve the right to charge for the additional guests or cancel the booking, with any refund being at the discretion of The Jan Cameron Trust.
• Check-in time is from 2pm and before 6pm, and check-out time is normally before 10am on the day of departure.

By providing credit card details, guests warrant they have the authority to use the credit card and they authorise The Jan Cameron Trust to charge the cost of their booking(s) to that credit card.

We reserve the right to charge the card that you provide at the time of booking, anytime within 7 days of your booking arrival date as per our cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy

Standard Cancellation
• 7 days or more prior to arrival: Fully refundable
• 6 days – 2 days prior to arrival: agreed rate for one night per room cancelled.
This means that if you cancel less than 6 days of when you are to stay, a fee of one night will be charged to your credit card (per room booked).
• 24 hours prior to arrival: full stay non-refundable
• Cancellations of bookings made within 24 hours of arrival: non-refundable.
• No refund will be given for any unused services or non-arrival.

Peak Season Cancellation: December – February *excluding bookings between 20 December – 10 January
• 30 days or more prior to arrival: Fully refundable
• 29 days – 14 days prior to arrival: agreed rate for one night per room cancelled.
This means that if you cancel less than 14 days of when you are to stay, a fee of one night will be charged to your credit card (per room booked).
• 14 days or less prior to arrival: non-refundable

Christmas & New Years Eve Cancellation - 20 December – 10 January
• Bookings between 20 December – 10 January: non-refundable
