The Criterion Hotel @ Carrington is a small, old-school, street corner local pub, on the outskirts of inner city of Newcastle and in the harbourside suburb of Carrington.
The 9 Rooms consisting of 7 Queens & 2 twins, have been recently rejuvenated. Pub style accomodation with comfy rooms and beds, shared bathroom facilities and common lounge with TV, Library & tea and coffee making facilities.
Part of the lovely historical village of Carrington and Close to inner city Newcastle and the Honeysuckle precinct.
New owners, Mick & Deb have given the pub a make-over, revealing some of the buildings original features and maintaining any that still remain, and turn it back in to the social hub of the community it once was.
Whether you want to quench your thirst or satisfy your appetite, The Criterion Pub & Kitchen offers great beer, wine, ciders and beverages, well priced wholesome food and a friendly welcoming atmosphere.
Friendly conversation, Sports on the Big Screen TVs, and lots of weekly activities such as Pub Quiz Trivia on Tuesday Nights, Raffles Thursday Night & Saturday Noon, and Live Music Friday Nights & Sunday afternoons.
Our Kitchen serves food 7 days a week for LUNCH & DINNER, with great week night specials and ever changing Blackboard Specials, our focus is on good honest, value for money Food.

Thank you for your booking at The Criterion Pub & Kitchen, Carrington.
In order to make your stay with us more comfortable, we would like to provide you with the following information:
• Check IN – from 1pm until 8pm at the Main Bar. If you are arriving later please contact Hotel to make suitable arrangments. Photo ID will be required upon check in and payment in full required.
• Check out time is 10:00am - if you require a late checkout please speak to staff, however any check out required after 10am may incur an additional charge.
• Smoking – The Criterion Pub & Kitchen has a strictly non-smoking policy. A $150 cleaning fee will apply if any guest is smoking in a room.

• Noise Policy - We ask you to please respect our other guests residing in the hotel by limiting noise after 10:00pm.
• Cancellation: 24hours notice prior to arrival date for cancellations or 100% of tariff fee will be charged.

Payment Policy

Total Payment made in Advance On - Line or at Time of Check-in.
We accept Visa & MasterCard, Eftpos & Cash Payments
$20 Deposit for Room Key if Cash is paid
Photo ID is required upon Checkin
