Terms and Conditions
1. Check-in Time: 14:00
2. Checkout Time: 12:00 (Noon)
Depending on availability, an earlier check-in time may be possible.
Guests who check out later than 12:00 (noon) will be charged for an extra night.
3. Photo Identification
A current passport (foreigner) or a national identification card (Thai citizen) is required and must be presented when checking in.
Without photo identification of passport or national identification card, we cannot check you in. We reserve the right to charge you the first night of your reservation as a result of a late cancellation.
Data sensitive material such as passports and identification cards are strictly required for check-in only. All personal data will be kept private and confidential.
4. Additional Guests
Private rooms may have no more than 1 additional person in each room for an additional cost of 550THB per night. Breakfast and bedding is included.
Private rooms may have no more than1 additional child, under the age of 6, in each room. Accommodations are free, provided that the child shares the bed with their parent or guardian.
5. Underage
If you are under the age of 18, a consent letter from a parent or guardian with contact information is required when checking in.
We do not accept bookings made by those under the age of 16. If you are under 16, you cannot stay in any shared room. You may stay in the private room, but must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old or older.
6. Group Bookings
Depending on availability we cannot guarantee that all members of a group booking will be assigned the same shared room. We will try our best to make these accommodations.
Payment Policy
- A major credit card is required when making a reservation. The name on credit card must match the name under the reservation.
We do not charge a deposit fee when a reservation is made, but we will do a pre-authorization of your first night on your credit card.
- Full payment is required upon check in. You may pay by cash or credit card (with 3% surcharge on the card).
Other Deposits/Fees
A refundable cash deposit of 500THB is required upon check-in for the room key (200THB) and the provided towel (300THB). Once you have returned the room key and towel at checkout, you will be refunded. Missing items result in a partial refund.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations or modifications must be made by e-mail only. Please e-mail reservation@thedearlykohtaohostel.com 48 hours, or more, prior to your arrival check-in time (14:00) of the first night of your reservation. Otherwise you will be charged in full for the first night on your card.
If you booked through a third party, please contact them for cancellation or modifications.
In the case of a no show, you will be charged for the full amount of the total reservation.
