Docklands Executive Apartments is not a Hotel, there is no reception, however we live here, which means you have a 24/7 personal host at your service to look after you, at your home away from home.

Our apartments are fully self contained residences. We provide executive style apartments for both the corporate and leisure traveller. All residences are well appointed and offer all the space and comfort of your own home with complete privacy.

There is no daily servicing or cleaning of the apartment, however, these services can be provided for an additional cost. The apartments are serviced weekly for stays of 7 days and longer.

Each apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, open plan living and dining rooms, floor to ceiling double glazed windows, with bay, harbour or park views and a private balcony. Large flat screen TV, Foxtel, DVD, Ipod dock, quality European cooking appliances, microwave, dishwasher, full size fridge, washing machine and dryer. Also included is a fully equipped modern kitchen and laundry facilities.

There is secure undercover car parking available if required at $20 per day and fast WiFi internet access (can connect to 5 devices) which is FREE for direct bookings.
We are centrally located which makes it easy to get to by car, train or tram. On the ground level, there are several restaurants, cafes, a liquor store, coffee shop, hairdresser, beautician, masseur, nail technician and also walking distance to the local supermarket.

We are situated between Collins and Bourke Streets, in one of Melbourne’s most prestigious inner suburbs only minutes away from the CBD. Docklands is home to some great entertainment, restaurants, shopping experiences including Harbour Town and South Wharf DFO. Walking distance to Melbourne city centre, Etihad Stadium, Crown Casino, Melbourne Convention Centre and Southern Cross Station . Close access to the free trams which are right outside your door and it’s an easy 5 minute walk to Southern Cross Station.

Terms & Conditions

Docklands Executive Apartments is not a hotel. We provide private residences for our guests in a home style environment. Therefore we have certain restrictions when it comes to the number of guests that are permitted to stay in our apartments.

NUMBER OF GUESTS

Only registered guests with a valid ID will be permitted to access the property. We have a responsibility under Occupational Health and Safety laws and with fire regulations in Australia that all guests checking into the apartments must be registered, this also includes visitors. The number of guests in the apartment at any time shall not exceed 4 in a two bedroom apartment, 6 in a three bedroom apartment. Should the number of guests in the apartment exceed the allotted amount at any time, it will result in immediate eviction from the property without a refund of monies paid. Unaccompanied minors (under 18 years of age) are not permitted to be left in the apartment. Minors found to be left in the apartments unaccompanied will be removed and the relevant authorities will be called.

NO PARTY/NO NOISE/GATHERING POLICY

We have a very strict ZERO TOLERANCE, NO PARTY/GATHERING NOISE POLICY. Unauthorised parties, group gatherings and functions are strictly prohibited. Prior to arrival a list of the names of the four guests including their home address and email addresses must be provided prior to check-in. All guests must present a valid ID, driver's licence or passport on check-in. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult such as a parent or step-parent who must be able to provide a photo ID/passport/driver's licence. If a guest is found to be a person under the age of 18 and is not accompanied by a parent or step-parent, the booking will be cancelled and the full booking amount will be forfeited.Guests who are unable to meet these requirements will not be granted access to the apartments.

NON SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted in the apartments or any part of the property. Failure to comply will result in a $450 cleaning fee being charged to the registered guest’s credit card automatically. Should a smoke alarm be activated you will be charged $5,000 by the Metropolitan Fire Brigade for the emergency call out fee.

FIRE ALARMS

Your apartment is fitted with fire alarms inside the apartment and also in the corridors for your safety. Should you accidentally activate a fire alarm due to excessive smoke from cooking, please ensure you don’t open the entry door to your apartment, the corridors are fitted with smoke detectors that will activate. Please only open the balcony door of your apartment to clear the smoke. Should you open the apartment door and activate the smoke alarm, you will be charged $5,000 by the Metropolitan Fire Brigade for the emergency call out fee.

EMERGENCY EVACUATION

In the case of an emergency evacuation a siren will sound. Please ensure you use one of the emergency stairwells location next to the lifts on your level. Please DO NOT use the lifts.

SECURITY DEPOSIT

A pre-authorised security deposit from $1000 - $2000 will be processed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, loss of keys, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared and late check-outs.

SELF CATERING (Servicing on Request)

All our apartments are fully self contained and self catering, just like a home away from home. This means you have complete privacy during your stay. There is no daily cleaning service provided and linen is not changed during your stay unless it is longer than 7 days.

Daily cleaning and servicing can be arranged prior to your arrival and is charged at $80 per day. A full linen change and clean can be arranged for $150.

Departure - Check-out time is 10am. On departure should be left in a similiar state to its condition on arrival. All rubbish and recycling should be removed or additional cleaning fees will apply. Penalties will apply for a late check-out unless arrangment has been made with Paul. Penalties from $80 per hour will be deducted from the security deposit.

Payment Policy

A DEPOSIT (the first night’s accommodation) is required to secure the booking and is refundable up to 21 days before arrival. Payment of the deposit constitutes your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions detailed on Docklands Executive Apartments (DEA) website. A SECURITY DEPOSIT is required from $1000 and $2,000 using a credit card authorisation from the registered guest. The security deposit and FULL PAYMENT of the accommodation must be received prior to occupancy. The authorised signatory for the credit card must be a registered guest and be present at check-in.
If not DEA has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re-book the apartment.

All guests must present a valid ID. All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult such as a parent or step-parent who must be able to provide a photo ID/passport/driver's licence. If a guest is found to be a person under the age of 18 and is not accompanied by a parent or step-parent, the booking will be cancelled and the full booking amount will be forfeited. PENALTIES are deducted from the security deposit for any damage, extra cleaning, late check-out, unauthorised guests and breaking House Rules. Guests who are unable accept these requirements will not be granted access to the apartments. Finally, the apartments are not serviced, they are self-catering and fully self-contained residences. However for stays of 7 days and longer, additional servicing is available on request and additional charges may be incurred. All apartments are NON SMOKING. Smoking is not permitted in the apartments or any part of the property.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 21 days before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. Fees will apply if there are multiple bookings.

If cancelled or modified later or no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
