Driftaway Villas are a small set of self contained Villas set one street back from beautiful Yorkeys Knob Beach, 10 minutes north of tropical Cairns. Owners John and Gen pride themselves on being able to provide comfortable holiday home style accommodation at very reasonable prices.
Choose from either a 3 bedroom Villa, sleeping 6 comfortably, or the one bedroom Cottage, perfect for a couple or if you're travelling alone. They are all air conditioned and totally pet friendly, each with their own private yard and BBQ/entertaining area so children and dogs are safe and everyone can relax. The Villas are tiled throughout and all on ground level creating a wheelchair friendly environment as well.
Each Villa is fully self contained with all your linen provided; they even have dvd's, books and games to help you have a lazy holiday.
The beach is less than a minutes walk away and has a lovely playground under the shady trees, free bbq's and an enormous area on the beach where the dogs are allowed off their leads away from the beach goers.

Unless otherwise previously agreed with the property owner, all holiday accommodation must only be used for private, residential use and to accommodate the number of guests stated on your booking confirmation. No functions or parties are to be held at the property under any circumstances. Exceeding the stated number of guests will result in a termination of your booking immediately and without refund. Additional charges or immediate termination may apply. In the event of unnecessary or excessive noise disturbance caused to neighbouring properties during your occupancy.
While our properties are pet friendly both inside and out, it is expected that all 'evidence' of your pet is cleared regularly and that your pets do not compromise the safety or quiet enjoyment of neighbouring properties.
Any breakages, damage or loss should be reported to the owners immediately. Failure to do so may result in a debit to your credit card for the cost.
Internet service is only available in the one bedroom cottage and is at no extra cost.
Incoming guests should contact the property owners 24 - 48 hours prior to their arrival to organise key collection and Villa number. This property does not have a Reception Area.

Payment Policy

The guests are charged the first nights accommodation or 10% of the full amount apon booking, whichever is the greater amount. The remainder of the payment is taken on the day of arrival unless otherwise requested by the guest to the owners (for example; if the guests would prefer to use a different payment method for the outstanding balance). Our prices are inclusive of GST.

Cancellation Policy

Any cancellations made outside 21 days incur a $50 administration fee.
For cancellations made within 7 to 21 days the guests deposit is retained.
When a cancellation is made with only 7 days notice, or less, or a no show, the full cost of the accommodation is charged.
