We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, all amounts are charged in $AU (Australian dollars). Any credit cards being used for payment (including incidentals) must be present at check-in/arrival by the cardholder.

A non-refundable credit card surcharge of 2.5% applies when paying with a credit card at the hotel. This includes payments made through Visa payWave and MasterCard PayPass. There will be no surcharge when paying with cash or EFTPOS (savings).

In the event that a guest fails to pay immediately upon demand any amount owing to Upper West Side Apartments, pursuant to the reservation and accommodation (including but not limited to suite damage and cleaning fees), Upper West Side Apartments reserves the right to deny access to the guest and ask that they vacate the premises.

Whilst care is taken to ensure that the photos and description of our facilities and services is accurate, these are continually being changed, upgraded, and on occasion removed from service. If any feature or facility is essential to you in choosing a particular property, we highly recommend speaking to one of our team members, whom will assist your decision making process and if that feature or facility will be available during your stay. Descriptions are based on information available at the time of publishing and may vary or change at any time.

Our standard cancellation policy requires reservation cancellations or changes to be advised to us before 2PM (14:00) hotel time, 60 days prior to arrival. If the guest does not arrive by 11PM (23:00) on the arrival date without alerting the hotel, the reservation will be released and 100% of accommodation will be charged. Any pre-payments (if any) will also be forfeited. Over high demand and special event periods alternative cancellation policies may apply. The cancellation policy will be communicated during the reservation process and can be supplied in a confirmation email when requested.

The guest who registers at check-in/arrival will be held accountable for any damage to the suite and contents during the stay dates. The registered guest will be liable for damages caused (including those by third parties visiting the suite) which will result in forfeiting any deposits, pre-payment, cash security deposit and also may be subject to additional charges. We reserve the right to process any charges in addition to accommodation to the presented credit card supplied at check-in/arrival.

We supply linen, pillows, blankets and towels which must be left where supplied in the bedrooms or bath room on departure. Cleaning and linen change occurs every seven days or upon request and at additional cost.

All guests are responsible for the safekeeping of accommodation keys/remote controls. All keys/remote controls are to be returned to the office or drop to the key box. Any missing keys or remote controls will be replaced and the $200 charged to my account.

If you lock your keys in the apartment out of hours (9am to 6pm), an agent may be available to attend. Please be aware that this will incur an afterhours call out fee of $100. If an agent is unable to attend and a locksmith is required, you will be charged the locksmith’s costs.

Upper West Side Apartment does not permit pets. Guide dogs are permitted and must have a medallion on their collar with the registration number and the owner must also carry a laminated pass (with the owner and dog’s name). Please advise ahead of time if you will be travelling with a Guide Dog.

we remind guests that the Upper West Side Apartment has a strict NO party Policy. Any behaviour regarded to be disturbing the peace will result in eviction from the property.
Upon booking, a credit card pre-authorisation is required and will be used to cover incidental items including (but not limited to) breakages/damages, lost or stolen property, excessive cleaning charges above the normal level of cleaning due to the apartment being left in an unacceptable state, etc.

In the event that the Upper West Side Apartments has a legitimate cause for concern or if the guest has not been seen nor been able to be contacted over a period of time, the suite may be entered by an apartment representative to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests is in order.

A rubbish (trash) chute is provided on each building floor for the removal of rubbish (trash) from the suite. All guests are responsible for the removal of their own rubbish (trash) on a daily basis. Bags are provided in each suite for this purpose.

Smoking in the internal suite is not permitted. Some suites have outdoor balcony areas where smoking is permitted. If you decide to smoke on the balcony, it must be done with the sliding door closed at all times, otherwise $200 cleaning & deodorising fee will be charged to your account.

We do our best to ensure your reservation arrangements are satisfactory, however Upper West Side Apartments does not accept any liability whatsoever for any injury damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond our control including, but not limited to, war, civil disturbance, terrorism, fire, floods, acts of God, acts of Government or of any other authorities, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment, maintenance requirements or industrial action.

All our Upper West Side Apartment buildings are secure environments and we do everything possible to ensure security levels are maintained, and we ask that our guests do also. However, we take no responsibility for any personal possessions that are lost, stolen or misplaced whilst on the premises.

The emergency evacuation procedures are located on the rear of your unit entry door. Please familiarise yourself with the muster point and fire exits from your unit.

All units are equipped with smoke detectors connected to the building’s main fire panel. Smoking in a unit, on a balcony with the doors open or around the common area passage way detectors will set the fire alarm off; Please be aware you will be charged by the Fire Department if you are the cause of a false alarm.
If the alarm detectors make a beeping noise, please call the Smoke Alarm Australia Beeping Alarm Hotline on 1300 652 213 for assistance.
