Forest Lodge Holiday Chalets

FOREST LODGE consists of 4 fully self contained units set amongst 2 acres of beautiful gardens filled with roses, bulbs and deciduous trees. The lovely units and gardens at Forest Lodge, Bright Accommodation, are a delight all year round. Forest Lodge is a great place to stay.
OUR UNITS are spacious, all with large lounge rooms with a large window overlooking the gardens and good sized bedrooms. Just a short walk to town.

We also have an undercover BBQ area which is available for the use of all guests. The Rail Trail (bike trail) passes the front of our property and we back onto a forest with walking tracks leading from the back of our property, one of these being Huggins Lookout.

OUR ONE AND TWO BEDROOM UNITS are just a short walk from the Bright restaurants and shops. Forest Lodge Units in Bright sleep up to 5 guests and all have a lounge room with comfy sofas (mostly leather Moran suites, some with Moran Recliners) and lovely garden views and mountain views in winter.

All units have Brand new 55" smart TVs, FREE WIFI and a front Patio with cane setting. Our Kitchens are fully equipped with Stove, Fridge, Microwave, electric frypans and all necessary utensils. Kitchens are galley style, small but practical.

OUR BEDS ARE TO DIE FOR .... We have top of the range KING KOIL pillow top mattresses that are super-comfortable. All linen is provided and beds are made up. We have beautiful goose down doonas on all beds, however blankets are available in all units if you prefer.

CAR PARKING is right outside your Unit, 2 car spaces available for the 2 bedroom units and 1 car space for the one bedroom units.

FOREST LODGE POOL is operational November - April, with a Spa (not heated) but good for bubbles in summer. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS for the Pool. POOL CLOSED FROM MAY - EARLY NOVEMBER.

POOL USE IS FOR GUESTS ONLY. UNFORTUNATELY, WE CANNOT ACCOMMODATE FRIENDS STAYING ELSEWHERE.

RECEPTION PERMANENTLY CLOSED.... PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF YOUR UNIT NUMBER. KEY WILL BE IN THE DOOR, WIFI PASSWORD ON FRIDGE.

This gorgeous cottage is just a short 350 m walk to the centre of Bright. Bessie's Mill Cottage is a beautiful cottage that features 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and one with a double and a single. Our beds are super comfortable, with cosy mattress toppers and beautiful goose-down doonas.

Bessie's Cottage has a large lounge room with wood fire and a very comfy 3 seater leather lounge that converts to a double Sofa bed, providing for another 2 guests.
Also a Bungalow, sleeping another 2 guests in a double bed. PLEASE NOTE; Bungalow is available for 7 or more guests. If required for less guests an additional $25 per night is charged.

THE STUDIO - PLEASE HEAD TO THE RIGHT PAST FIRST UNITS UP TO GARAGE WHERE YOU CAN PARK OUTSIDE. Studio is through gate to the right.

A small Motel like Studio with a private back garden. We do rent this out at peak times if all of our units and other units in town seem to be booked and we have no family staying.

HOWEVER, this is for 1 or 2 quiet guests, NO CHILDREN, NO PETS, no EXCEPTIONS. FREE WIFI

COOKING is LIMITED TO A MICROWAVE, toaster and kettle, and the outdoor BBQ, The Studio does have a fridge, utensils. Perfect for the person who wants a holiday without cooking.

The STUDIO is extremely comfortable, like our units, has a 42" TV, video available, air-conditioning, free WIFI, large shower in the new bathroom.

Terms & Conditions

Please leave your units clean and tidy. Rubbish bin and recycling is next door to laundry. Extra cleaning charges will apply for units left in an unacceptable condition. Charges will also apply for items removed from THE unit.

IF YOU ARE BRINGING A PET $15 PER PET PER NIGHT. MAXIMUM 2 pets. $200 bond.

The property is unfenced and pets must not be left unattended in the unit at any time ... they must go everywhere with you.

PLEASE bring pets bedding as we don't want pets on our beds or furniture. Costs for any extra cleaning or extensive hair removal or clean up after pets will be taken from $200 required bond which will be refunded after cleaning.

By booking a unit you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.

Payment Policy

PAYMENT
Full payment due when booking for any booking within 60 days. For dates outside this time a 50% deposit will be required.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATIONS
For cancellations more than 60 days before your booking your deposit will be refunded less a fee of $50 if you have booked directly on our website. Cancellations within 60 days forfeits 50% of booking.
We are happy to transfer your deposit or full payment to a more suitable time if unavoidable cancellation and adequate notice is given.
