We strongly recommend a minimum stay of 3 NIGHTS to allow enough time to enjoy all activities on and near the farm!
Lovely Family or Romantic Couple farm holiday experience. You have your very own private, beautifully renovated, self-contained Cottage all to yourself but with hosts living on the 12 acre property should you require anything! Gumleaf Cottage is a 100 year old typical Australian farm cottage, situated on the property of Golden West Haflinger Stud where Cathy used to breed these beautiful golden, blonde ponies which originate from Austria!
Always a variety of farmyard pets to play with and the kids are welcome to join in with animal feeding and care every morning, including collecting the eggs! They will be well entertained with our variety of very friendly farmyard pets including Rabbits, Miniature Goats, Sheep, Chickens, Dog, Cats, Parrots, miniature ponies and of course our gorgeous golden Haflinger ponies!
Located on the doorstep of the Perth Hills and Swan Valley vineyards and Tourism precinct, local country pubs, fine dining restaurants, wineries, Fruit picking, weekend markets and more!
Surrounded by natural bush and farmland with beautiful Australian flora and fauna to explore right on your doorstep. Kangaroos, possums and bandicoots visit the property most nights!

*Bring your Horse/Pony with you!... Ideal location for country riders as the State Equestrian Centre is only 15 minutes away. Overnight Agistment available by arrangement.
***Please bring casual clothing as you can expect to get dirty exploring the farm and joining in animal feeding. Wellington boots are a good idea for kids, or at least enclosed footwear!

Check in available after 2pm.
Check out by 10am.
All gates must be closed EVERY time you enter or leave them.
No Parties or Events to be held on the property without approval by the owner.
No fires to be lit at any time, please check current Fire restrictions with owner before lighting indoor fireplace.
No smoking inside the cottage or anywhere near stockfeed or animals.
No Pets allowed unless owner has authorised.
Please take full responsibility for the safety of your own children whilst on the property.
Payment Policy
The guest pays a booking deposit equal to 25% of the total booking amount once you accept the booking request, and pays the remaining balance
28 days prior to arrival. The guest pays 100% of the booking amount if their booking request date is within this period.
Cancellation Policy
Booking Deposit (25%) is non-refundable.
Bookings cancelled 4 weeks or less from date of arrival are non-refundable, however may be transferred to alternate dates at the discretion of the owner, and subject to availability. This will result in the loss of your deposit paid and a new deposit will be required for your selected dates.
