We provide comfortable, clean, safe and reasonably priced accommodation to seasonal workers and holidaymakers. Just outside of the township of Huonville, we are perfectly located for those wishing to work in or visit this unique part of the world.
Huon Flash Packers provides a great base from which to explore the many attractions of this special region, including Tahune Airwalk, Hastings Caves and Thermal Springs, the pristine wilderness of the Hartz Mountains and South West National Park, and the amazing waterways of the D’Entrecasteaux Channel and Huon River.
We have an onsite Visitor Centre where you can gather brochures and maps about this area and Tasmania in general. We can help with making bookings for local and state-wide attractions as well as organise your accommodation bookings if you are not staying with us. Here you can also purchase locally made products and souvenirs in our giftshop.

Check out Time is 10am EST - late checkout may incur a fee.
Contactless check in and payment can be arranged.

Our large communal kitchen is for the use of all guests - it is well equipped with all items you should need to prepare your own food. All dishes and utensils are to be washed dried and put away in a tidy fashion for others to use, preparation and cooking areas are to be cleaned after use. There is no personal crockery or cutlery included, these items can be hired from reception for the duration of your stay or you can provide your own. There is hand sanitiser and hand soap provided for use and the area will be checked and sanitised at least daily.

There is to be no cooking or eating of meals in the sleeping areas.

We understand that people will socialise and want to mingle but please observe all social distancing and gathering requirements due to Covid-19.

Payment Policy

• No prepayment is needed.
• I pre-authorise guests' credit cards prior to arrival for all policy types.
• The amount I block on the guests' credit card is: First night.

Cancellation Policy

• The guest can cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the cost of the first night if they cancel in the 7 days before arrival. If the guest doesn’t show up they will be charged the total price of the reservation.
