Terms & Conditions
ACCOMMODATION: Dalveen is Temporary Holiday Accommodation - a 50% deposit is payable on booking - Payment of the Deposit constitutes acceptance of the following Terms and Conditions, including the payment and cancelation policies.
ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE: Check-in: 2.00pm - Check-out: 11.00pm - outside of these hours by arrangement only and or otherwise agreed upon in writing
GUESTS: The number of guests staying should match the number of guests booked up to a max of 10 persons - Fees will apply for extra guests not paid for on the reservation confirmation or as agreed with the Owners in advance up to the max amount of 10 persons - guests must sleep in beds provided and not sleep on any lounges or couches - otherwise an extra person charge and cleaning fee will apply
PROPERTY USAGE: Please leave the property in a similar condition to arrival - Dalveen is for residential / domestic use / purposes ONLY - Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited unless otherwise explicitly agreed upon by the owners and will be subject to an event fee as agreed upon by both parties in writing, accordingly the rate does not allow for the extra wear and tear associated with extra persons parties and or functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal and repairs - Use contrary to these terms will result in loss of the security deposit and/or additional payments INCLUDING DAMAGES - all damages and any excess cleaning or rubbish removal and anything that needs replacing will be charged to your account.
SMOKING: Dalveen is a NON SMOKING PROPERTY - SMOKING IS PROHIBITED INSIDE THE HOUSE, LIVING AND BEDROOM AREAS - NO EXCEPTIONS - SMOKING INSIDE WILL BE CHARGED A MIN OF $500 and will forfeit the security deposit -
NOISE: Please be mindful of our neighbours any disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of the occupancy and forfeiture of all Rental and the Bond paid by the Client.
INCLUSIONS: Linen, blankets and pillows towels are supplied and an assortment of Teas, Nespresso coffee and condiments of honey and jams are provided for your refreshment and enjoyment.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS: Any Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the Client’s responsibility during their stay. The Owners take no responsibility for the Client’s and or their guest, guests’ personal property and personal risk during their stay.
INTERNET: data usage of the wireless device by the Client beyond the allocated 8GB will be charged to the Client at a rate of $10 per 1GB.
POOL: You are welcome to use the outdoor area and pool - Use at your own risk - Owners will not be liable for any misuse of the pool - no glass, alcohol, drinks or food to be brought into or consumed in or around the pool -use table and chairs provided to eat and drink and use garbage bins provided. Pool hrs are strictly between 8am - 9pm - do not interfere with the automatic pool cleaning equipment - please ensure your children and infants under 14years of age are fully supervised while in the pool area and swimming - keep gates, doors and screens locked to prevent children from entering into the pool area unsupervised. NB: Pool is not available during autumn winter months from 1st April - 31st August.
PETS: Pets are not allowed unless specific arrangements have been made and agreed upon in writing by the Owners.
All bookings must be secured with a valid credit card - we accept all major credit cards including Amex - 2.5% surcharge on all cards -
DEPOSIT: 50% deposit is payable to secure the property on booking. The balance must be received in full 24hrs prior to occupancy, payable by credit card - Owners have the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re let the property if the balance is not paid according to these terms, payments are processed through the secure Stripe payment gateway.
SECURITY DEPOSIT: $1,000 Bond covers any potential additional costs incurred during the occupancy including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements and any extra guests beyond those declared. The Bond will be refunded in full after check out and the property has been inspected and cleaned, within 14 days and is subject to the above terms and conditions being met. NB: if damages or replacement costs are more than the bond the extra amount will be charged to your account
All cancellations must be in writing.
In the event of a cancellation the deposit is non refundable unless unless the property is re-let for the entire booking period and is subject to an administration fee of $100.
In the event that the security deposit has already been paid it will be full refunded in full.
The Owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the Owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event that these alterations result in a cancellation of the booking by the Owners then any Rental amount and Bond paid by the Guests prior to cancellation by the Owners will be refunded.
