Terms & Conditions
Bookings can only be made and confirmed by guests able to provide credit card details at the time of booking and pay in full 14 days prior to check in. A valid email address is also required. Please review the information carefully and contact us immediately at KangarooBayApartments@gmail.com if you have any questions or require any changes. Please review our Cancellation Policy, as securing your reservation with a credit card means you accept the terms of our Cancellation Policy. Each apartment is allocated one on site car parking space, and additional vehicles will need to use the free parking on the streets nearby. The Cottage and House have on site parking for two vehicles each. All accommodation is non smoking and pet free. Any theft or damage to the property will be charged to the credit card used to make the booking. Check in time is any time after 2:00pm on the first day of your reservation, and check out time is any time before 10:00am on the last day of your reservation.
Payment Policy
Please note we are not registered for GST. Mastercard or Visa card details for payment must be provided at the time of booking. Credit card details will be retained on file and payment for the full amount will be processed in the 14 days prior to your arrival, or in line with the individual booking terms from you third party website who may choose to take full payment at the time of booking . This will be disclosed to you at the time of booking by the third party booking agent.
For approved guests, payment can be made directly into Kangaroo Bay Apartments' bank account: Comm Bank BSB 067 103 Acct# 10672001
Cancellation Policy
Any cancellations made 15 days or more from the arrival date can be made free of charge.
Any cancellation received within 14 days prior to arrival date will incur the full period charge.
Failure to arrive at your hotel will be treated as a No-Show and no refund will be given (Hotel policy).
Important note re COVID-19.
Please be aware of the current risk of travel restrictions being imposed due to COVID-19, which may not be covered by travel insurance. If you are unable to travel due solely to mandatory travel restrictions and/or lock-downs, or having to quarantine on arrival in Tasmania, we will assist you with moving your booking within 12 months of cancellation. If you instead request a full cancellation within 14 days of arrival, a cancellation fee of $15 + 1.8% of the booking value will be charged at the owner's discretion, and the balance refunded via fund transfer.
