Special Terms and Conditions apply for bookings for 4th and 5th January 2023.

GUESTS AND NOISE

Guests are asked to leave the premises by 9pm please.

The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all of the visitors to their room for the duration of the registered guest's stay. All deliberate and/or reckless acts that result in damage to Kingsgate motel property and any costs associated with inappropriate behaviour resulting in loss of income to the motel will be charged to the registered guest.

As parking space is limited, visitors vehicles are to be parked outside the complex.

In consideration of other guests, we do NOT allow noisy gatherings or parties in our rooms.

SMOKING AND VAPING

Smoking and vaping is not allowed in the rooms. If you do smoke or vape in your unit, you will be personally charged NZ$300 to cover specialist cleaning and resulting loss of income. Smoking in the unit may result in a fine and/or immediate eviction.

PAYMENT:
Unless otherwise arranged, full payment for your stay is required before or at check-in. A credit card or debit card is required to guarantee all bookings (Visa or Mastercard).

The full tarriff for group bookings is due 14 days from check-in.

PAYMENT METHODS:
Accepted payment methods are Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS , Cash and direct credit. A 2.5% transaction fee will be added for payment via credit card.

CREDIT PAYMENT TERMS:
Accounts are payable by the 20th day of the month following the date of invoice.

Overdue/recovery charges may be made if your account is not paid on time. Overdue accounts will attract a credit financing charge of 5% per month

Cancellation Policy

GENERAL CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations or amendments to bookings must be done in writing by email or phone.
Cancellations can be made up until 2 days (48 hours) prior to arrival without charge. However, any cancellations within 48 hours of arrival will be charged the full cost of the stay, A credit card number will needed to secure the booking.

WRITTEN CONFIRMATION OF CANCELLATION.
Your booking will not be considered cancelled till you have received a confirmation of cancellation in writing. This means that If you ring to cancel over the phone, the booking is not cancelled till you receive an email with a written notification from us. Please call us as soon as possible If you don't receive an email cancellation after cancelling on the phone.

NO SHOW's
If you haven't received a written confirmation of cancellation by 48hrs before check-in and you don't turn up, the full cost of your accomodation will be charged to your credit card.

COVID 19 ISOLATION RELATED CANCELLATIONS
You can cancel free of charge right up till check-in If you are forced to isolate due Covid 19 goverment requirements, time. You may be asked to provide written evidence of your isolation requirements. We ask that you still please formally cancel any Covid related bookings by phone or email.

GROUP BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY
The full tariff for group bookings is due 14 days from check-in. Cancellations for Group or Multiple Bookings - A Booking of Multiple Rooms Under One Name (Or Different Names) By One Individual/Company Cancellations or amendments to bookings must be done in writing by email or phone. Cancellations or amendments with less than 14 days’ notice from 2pm on the check-in day will result in the total amount of the booked accommodation being charged. However we will endeavour to on-sell the rooms and will refund any on-sold room tariffs.
