Lake Tekapo Lodge

Lake Tekapo Lodge is sited above the village of Tekapo and offers spectacular view of Lake Tekapo and the Southern Alps. Flat easy off street parking is accessed from Aorangi Crescent. A walkway runs alongside the lodge giving quick access to the village. The three stylish super king lake view rooms have opening doors to a terrace for you to enjoy the vista.

The three lakeview rooms are in a separate wing of the building along with a guest lounge and laundry. The Mackenzie room has a queen bed and ensuite and is accessed directly off the foyer. The guest lounge provides a quiet sanctuary with gas fireplace, extensive library featuring NZ literature and reference books. Refreshments and tea/coffee making facility are available for you to enjoy at any time. The guest dining room is in the heart of the building. It has a large picture window next to the dining table seducing guests to linger over meals. An open fire roars in the cooler months and the glamorous decor makes for a relaxing environment for dining. Breakfast is included in the room rate.

Your winemaker/chef hosts are professional hoteliers who have created an eclectic and stimulating environment for their guests. Evening meals may be available by prior arrangement and an extensive NZ winelist may tempt guests to taste some of the world's finest examples of cool climate winemaking.

The foyer is entered through massive wooden church doors. Mirrors and a large chandelier highlight some impressive NZ artworks. Activity information brochures are displayed – we are happy to assist with any booking requirements. The owners live in a separate wing.

The lodge and grounds are smoke free. The property is not suitable for children and all rooms accommodate a maximum of two adults (no children).
