Custom designed and newly built for 2019, your every need will be met.

A thoughtful and customised place to rest and rejoice after awesome days spent enjoying the best of Dorset Shire, Tasmania.

Unwind on your spacious deck, around the generous fire pit or nestled inside surrounded by friends and tall tales from the day.

Choose one lodge to sleep up to 8 guests or both Briseis & Cascade to sleep up to 16.

Lake View Derby - Briseis has been custom built with the outdoor adventurer in mind, the floor plan has been carefully planned to ensure you are able to make the most of your stay.

3 bedrooms can each be configured to your requirements, with a generous open plan living, dining and fully equipped kitchen as well as a dedicated mud room where you can peel off the days layers ready for tomorrow.

Sleeping up to 8 guests you can choose the bedding configuration to suit your needs:
Room 1: Two Long Singles OR One King Bed
Room 2: Three Long Singles OR One Long Single + One King Bed
Room 3: Three Long Singles OR One Long Single + One King Bed

You can choose to spend your afternoon or evening taking in the last few hours of sunlight on the large open deck over looking Briseis Hole (hence the name Lake View Derby), sitting by the indoor wood heater or out by the fire pit.

And your trusty steads at the end of each day can be tucked up safely in the mountain bike stable also kitted out with the tools you may need for a few days on the trails.

Payment Terms

50% deposit is required to secure your dates and a receipt of payment will be emailed to you to confirm your booking.

Final Balance Due 30 days prior to your arrival.

Full refund provided for cancellations made 30 days prior to your stay, less $100 admin fee. 50% refund will be offered within 30 days, less $100 admin fee. No refund for cancellations within 7 days of your stay.

Security Deposit

Credit card details are kept securely on file as your security deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

We reserve the right to charge an $800 per unit fee to cover the excess for property damages.

We reserve the right to charge an excess cleaning fee of $250 if the property is left in an unsatisfactory state.

Payment Policy

50% deposit is required to secure your dates and a receipt of payment will be emailed to you to confirm your booking.

Cancellation Policy

Prior to Arrival:
30 days or more a full refund less $100 admin fee;
30 days or less 50% refund less$100 admin fee;
7 days or less no refund for cancellation within 7 days of your stay.

No refund can be given in the event of non-arrival for any unused services.

We recommend that you protect yourself with Travel Insurance.
