Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully. When you make a booking with Loea Hotel, you accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your confirmation documents are correct and to bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies within 24 hours of your booking.

BOOKING POLICY
For exclusive hire and multiple rooms bookings (5 bedrooms or more), you must book directly via LOEA and not through a third party. Any bookings booked via a third party will be cancelled and rebooked directly via LOEA. For bookings of 5 bedrooms or more a 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with the final payment due 30 days prior to arrival.

PAYMENT POLICY
For all single room bookings, full payment is required 72 hours* (3 days) prior to arrival. If payment is not received by the due date, Loea Hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking. For exclusive hire and multiple rooms bookings (5 bedrooms or more), a 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with the final payment due 30 days prior to arrival.

*During the Christmas period, 24th December to 2nd January full payment is required 14 days prior to arrival. During the Easter long weekend, full payment is required 7 days prior to arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY
For single bookings, the full tariff is required 72 hours* (3 days) prior to arrival. If you cancel your booking 72 hours* (3 days) or more before your scheduled arrival there will be no charge. If cancelled or modified 0-72 hours (0-3 days) prior to arrival the full tariff is non-refundable. For exclusive hire and multiple rooms bookings (5 bedrooms or more), a non-refundable deposit is taken at the time of booking. The final 75% non-refundable payment is due 30 days prior to arrival.

*During the Christmas period, 24th December to 2nd January, if you cancel your booking 14 days or more before your scheduled arrival there will be no charge. During the Easter long weekend, if you cancel your booking 7 days or more before your scheduled arrival there will be no charge.

CANCELLATION DURING COVID-19 EPIDEMIC
If government restrictions are placed on domestic travel due to the impact of Covid-19, we will provide a free change of date to your booking or provide a voucher for the full value of your booking. All other cancellations will be subject to our normal cancellation policy. Bookings made via a third party or online travel agent ie. Booking.com, Expedia etc will incur additional charges due to commissions payable.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
Standard check in time is 2.00 pm on the day of arrival and the room is to be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure. Early arrivals and late check-outs are at the discretion of Management and must be requested at the time of booking.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
A security bond of $200 is required via a valid credit card at time of check-in. Your credit card will be only be debited in the event of: not adhering to the terms and conditions, damage to the property, equipment, breakages or if extra cleaning is required. If you are paying cash, $200 cash bond will be requested at the time of check in.

BIKE HIRE
We offer free use of our LOEA bicycle. If you choose to use our bikes you will be responsible for any damage to the bicycle if it occurs during the time in which you are responsible for the bicycle. The risk of injury from the use of any bicycle could be significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the possibility of serious injury while operating a bicycle does exist. By accepting our terms and conditions you will agree to waive all claims of damage, injuries and death sustained to you or any of your party.

SMOKING
Smoking is strictly prohibated onsite and inside any rooms. If there is any evidence of smoking inside rooms you will be charged an additional $500 for a specialised clean to eliminate odours. A smoking area is avalible across the road in the park.

PETS
No pets are permitted.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS
You acknowledge that we do not cover your personal belongings under our insurance policy and therefore take no responsibility for any loss or damage of the occupants personal property left on the premises and agree that you will not make any claim against us for any damages or loss to your personal belongings regardless of how or where the loss or damage occurred.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We highly recommend you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at time of booking. We suggest that the policy should include, but not be limited to, the reimbursement of any monies paid in the event the travel is cancelled; loss or damage to personal baggage and loss of money and medical expenses.

BEHAVIOUR
Parties or gatherings are strictly prohibited, unless prior arrangements have been made with Management. Disturbance to other guests and neighbours including excessive noise and music is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund. If a noise complaint is received a first warning will be given, if a second complaint is received this will result in immediate eviction with no refund.

SWIMMING POOL POLICIES
Open 7am – 8pm daily
All pool areas are exclusively for registered hotel guests only.
There is no lifeguard on duty swimming is at your own risk.
Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
No smoking or e-cigarettes allowed in pool area.
For health and safety, swim nappies are required for children under 3. Parents will be liable should the pool be forced to close and be drained due to negligence in supplying proper nappies to prevent pool accidents.
Diving is not permitted as the pool depth varies.
No glass allowed in pool area.
Music allowed with the use of personal headphones only – no amplified music of any kind.

BREAKAGES AND DAMAGES
Damages or breakages of furniture or furnishings must be reported to Management immediately. Breakages or damages to the property and all communal or external areas that are caused by any guest and/or a guest’s visitor will be charged and recouped in full from the guest’s credit card or deducted from the guest’s refundable deposit. Excess cleaning required on departure or replacement of items removed from the accommodation will be charged to the guest’s credit card. Furniture, fixtures and fittings are not to be altered or moved between rooms or properties. There will be a charge incurred if the furniture is not returned to its original location.

LIABILITIES
You acknowledge that we do not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses and disruptions due to electrical storms or other acts of God caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control and agree not to make any claim in relation thereto.

CHANGES BEYOND OUR CONTROL
Compensation will not apply if a significant change is made for reasons beyond our control. These include: war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks, changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type; closed or congested airports or ports, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, act of government or public authorities or other circumstances amounting to force majeure and/or Acts of God.

BREACH OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You agree that, should you or your guests breach any of the terms and conditions:
You will pay to us the total loss or damage that we suffer as a result of that breach and hereby authorise us to debit your credit card or apply your refundable deposit in payment of that loss or damage and we may evict you and your guests without notice
