Terms & Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Check-in time: 2:00 PM Check-out time: 11:00 AM

EARLY CHECK IN AND LATE CHECK OUT:
Early check-in or late check-out is subject to bed/room availability and will cost P250 per hour/ room.
If you arrive earlier and prefer not to check in yet, we will be pleased to store your luggage until your room is ready.
Maximum extension of late check-out is 2 hours. Should you want to extend longer than 2 hours, it will be considered as a one (1)-night stay. This is also subject to room availability.

SECURITY DEPOSIT:
A security deposit of PHP 1,000 is required upon check-in and will be refunded upon check-out once the room key is surrendered and housekeeping gives clearance.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY:
Strictly maximum of 6 persons (children below 5 years old excluded) per room.

PETS:
Kindly let us know beforehand if you plan to bring your dog. Strictly one dog per room only. A charge of P1000 dog/ day will be made for room cleaning purposes. Dogs up to 40 lbs. are permitted and may not be left in the guest room unattended. Dogs must be on a leash in public areas. A pet waiver must be signed at check-in. Any damage will be charged accordingly.

HOUSEKEEPING:
For your privacy and continued relaxation, housekeeping requests are gladly entertained from 8:00am-5:00pm only. Kindly let our front desk staff know if you require replenishment of our toiletries and amenities or for Make-up Room requests. You may also leave the Make-up Room sign by your door.

Complimentary coffee and tea are available at the Reception from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM

BRINGING IN FOOD AND BEVERAGES:
Bringing in of food and beverages is highly discouraged to help maintain pest-free rooms. But if you wish to do so, light snacks may be allowed. Corkage fee is P1.00 per ML for alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages brought in.

COOKING:
The safety of our guests, staff, and this facility is extremely important to us. Preparation of food in guest rooms by any type of cooking appliances is prohibited. A minimum penalty of P3, 000 will be charged for cooking in a room, including, but not limited to coffee makers, hot plates, toaster ovens, water heaters, rice cookers, combustible, open flame, barbecue grill, burners, heating appliance, or any other item intended for cooking. Open fires, flames or cooking grills, either charcoal or gas, and fireworks are not allowed anywhere on hotel property.

PARKING:
For the safety of our guests’ vehicles, the designated parking area is behind the reception only. Other areas are strictly for drop-offs and deliveries.

WIFI:
WiFi username and passwords are available in the reception.

SWIMMING:
Pool Hours: 8:00AM to 9:00PM
Beach Swimming Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM
Life vests available in Surf Shack. Moving of beach beds, table/s and chair/s to other places is prohibited. Children under 17 years must be supervised by an adult in and around the pool and beach area at all times. Swimming is at Visitor/Guest’s own risk and Hotel does not accept any liability for any mishap.

SMOKING:
Smoking inside the rooms is prohibited but we have designated smoking areas for this. We all value being in clean surroundings and we expect that butts and other waste be thrown in the bins provided. A P1,000 per day cleaning fee will be charged to the guest’s account should smoking be detected anywhere inside the room. Should you need an ashtray, simply request at the reception or at the Hngry Mrmd Restaurant and be conscious of non-smokers around the area.

POWER: Since brown-outs occur unexpectedly in Baler and with the continuing increase in fuel costs, our generator will be powered within 15-30 minutes after unanticipated brownouts. We strongly suggest that you turn the air-conditioner off whenever you leave the room to conserve electricity.
In the event of a scheduled power interruption, our generator requires a 1-hour cooldown period after every 4-5 hours of continued operation.

GUEST BELONGINGS:
Visitors are requested to lock the door of their rooms securely when going out or when going to bed. The Hotel will not, in any way, whatsoever, be responsible for the loss or theft of visitors’ / guest’s goods or any other property not entrusted to the management or for damage thereof whether due to neglect of the hotel staff, agents or any cause whatsoever including the theft or pilferage. The Management is not responsible for your valuables within the hotel premises.

COVID-19 PROTOCOLS:
In the event a guest has a temperature of 38 degrees or higher or have any other COVID-19 symptoms, he/ she will be asked to proceed to our holding area and will be reported to the LGU to take necessary measures.

DAMAGE TO MATTRESSES AND BEDDINGS:
Damage to mattresses and linen including towels, mattress, bed sheets, pillowcases, duvet fillers and duvet covers resulting from the use of body oils, make-up, shoe-polish, henna tattoo, etc. will result in a charge for the special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY:
Guests will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the hotel property caused by themselves, their friends or visitors or for any person for whom they are responsible. The Hotel also reserves the right to call the Local Police Station in case of guests refusing to pay for the damage, including but not limited to, taking possession of guest belongings and detainment of guests until the matter reaches an amicable solution. Such guest will also be checked out, irrespective of the number of days of stay booked. The hotel also reserves the right to circulate the information of the incident, including names of guest, to the Hotel Associations. We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage caused by the negligent or reckless act of the guest to the hotel’s property or structure. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest and send an invoice for the amount to the registered address. We will, however, make every effort to rectify any damage internally prior to contracting specialists to make the repairs, and therefore will make every effort to keep any costs that the guest would incur to a minimum.

REMOVAL OF HOTEL PROPERTY:
Removing items from rooms (or its designated area) or moving them to other places in the hotel is prohibited. We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item, including any carriage charges. Should the fact that the item is missing come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest and send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.

MANAGEMENT RIGHTS:
The Management reserves to itself, the absolute right of admission to any person in the hotel premises and to request any guest to vacate his or her room at any moment without previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, and the guest shall be bound to vacate when requested to do so. In default, the Management will be entitled to remove the luggage and belongings of the visitor from the room occupied by him or her and lock the room. The management also reserves the right to change any policies, rules and regulations from time to time. In case of any dispute, decision of the hotel will be considered as final and binding.

RIGHT TO REFUSE ACCOMMODATION:
L’Sirene reserves the right to refuse accommodation to you or any person(s) without any notice and terminate any booking without being liable for any refund or compensation for the following reasons:
• the booking has been paid through fraudulent means
• the booking has been altered by anyone other than L’Sirene or L’Sirene authorized agent or has been tampered with or the Booking Confirmation has been defaced (in which case L’Sirene reserves the right to retain such booking documentation)
• the person checking in is not or cannot prove that he/she is the person named in the Booking Confirmation
• as permitted under the provisions of these Terms and Conditions

PROMOTION POLICY:
If you choose to take advantage of any promotions offered through the hotel, please follow all restrictions associated with each offer. Management reserves the right to change or cancel all promotions.

Cancellation Policy

PAYMENT POLICY:
Room rates shown on the L’Sirene Website are charged on a per room per night basis. The rates quoted are based on your period of stay. Room rates and details are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change without notice.
In the event you complete a booking based on a rate that has been incorrectly posted, the Hotel reserves the right to correct the rate or cancel the reservation at its discretion, and will contact you directly in order to do so.

CREDIT CARD CONFIRMATION:
If you book via the website, administration fees may apply to credit card payment.

L’Sirene will retain all personal information you provide during booking. By making a booking with us or using the L’Sirene Website, you consent to our use and/or disclosure of your personal details to our franchisees, branches, related corporations, associates, subsidiaries, affiliates, assignees, proposed assignees, agents, commercial partners, service providers and/or any other parties engaged by us to enable or assist us in the provision of services or to exercise or enforce our rights hereunder and/or any other party as L’Sirene may, in our sole and absolute discretion, deem necessary for the following purposes:
• to process your booking and for other administrative purposes
• to provide you customer support and services
• to send you information on products and services, and special or promotional offers, newsletters or customer survey forms and questionnaires. You may unsubscribe from these at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe link” on the relevant email communications.
• We may also be legally obliged to disclose, and you irrevocably consent to our disclosing, your personal information to government and enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies and public authorities or as may be required by law. This may involve sending your personal information between different countries.
We will use our best endeavors to use your personal information in the manner stated herein and will not otherwise disclose your personal information without your prior written consent.

Rebooking/ No Show Policy:
1. A rebooking (rescheduling) or other arrangements may be made once, at the sole discretion of the Resort shall be considered but subject
to room availability and further subjected to the above rates. The rate at the time of booking will prevail, but if a schedule will be changed from lean period to peak period, the price difference will be collected. Peak and lean seasons are posted accordingly. “Shortened Stays” & “No Shows” for confirmed bookings will not be refunded. Twenty percent (20%) of the amount paid will be charged as Rebooking Fee.

2. Cancellation and refunds including due to the pandemic will only be accommodated when a lockdown is declared and/ or the alert level is heightened to 5. Ten percent (10%) of the amount paid will not be refunded due to expenses incurred by the Hotel in the days/ weeks before the booking/ event. Rebooking is strongly recommended.
