Marcel Towers consists of six air conditioned two-bedroom apartments and six airconditioned one-bedroom apartments, located in Nambucca Heads' dress circle position - on part of the Inner Harbour known as The Glen, right at the entrance of the Nambucca River to the South Pacific Ocean.

Each apartment is a full-size furnished home unit, with separate bedroom/s; fully-equipped kitchen; bathroom and separate living/dining room. Each apartment also has its own undercover off-street car parking space, elevated front balcony and water views. All are air conditioned. We have a number of pet friendly apartments: must enquire prior to booking. A $ 15 fee per dog for the first 3 nights and up to a max of $60.00 per dog per week. Must book direct with us. Not all the apartments are pet friendly. All damages must be paid for.

By combining the Superior Unit and the Courtyard Apartment via an interconnecting door, the Marcel Mega-Apartment is created, with three separate bedrooms; two bathroom/toilets; two living rooms; two fully-equipped kitchens (one with a dishwasher); separate balconies and entrances and its own barbeque courtyard.

Riverside Place is the adjacent two storey house, consisting of the resident owners/managers' apartment upstairs and an air-conditioned fully-equipped two bedroom unit (accommodates six people in normal configuration) downstairs. This air conditioned ground floor Riverside Place apartment has its own laundry; separate bedrooms; fully-equipped kitchen (including dishwasher); living/dining room; bathroom and Austar/Foxtel satellite television. It also has a lockup garage.

Free internet access is available, being via either a fixed line desktop computer in reception or wireless broadband to each room. A baby bath; cots; high chair and stroller are all available free of charge, whilst use of our rowboats, kayaks and water sports equipment is also free, as is access to our book and DVD libraries, various jigsaws, board games and the like - just perfect to pass the quiet times!

Whether you stay in Marcel Towers or Riverside, you enjoy three and a half star accommodation and the benefit of on-site resident owners/managers. Linen, pillows, blankets and barbeque facilities are provided at no extra charge (Riverside and the Courtyard Apartment in Marcel Towers have their own barbeque facilities), whilst you can also use our row boats or kayaks to take a short trip up the river, or across to the sand island opposite the units.

We are literally a stone's throw from the water's edge, where you can swim from the river beach and view the many coloured semi-tropical fish.

You will also enjoy spectacular ocean and river views, as well as the beauty of the rainforest which is, literally, your backyard. Watch for the dolphins as they swim past your balcony or frolic in the ocean at the entrance to the Nambucca River. Thrill at the multitude of the bird and animal life; the ever-changing colours of the water and the magnificent sunsets.

Stroll along to the nature boardwalk to the famous Vee Wall Breakwater or to the nearby tavern; parks; ocean beach; clubs; restaurants; kiosk and township. Wander along the rainforest walks, or just sit and watch the waves, birds and swimming fish!

Overnight bookings are welcome, as are pets in certain apartments, including the Courtyard and Riverside apartments, but you must call ahead to make and confirm arrangements in order to avoid disappointment. Not all of our apartments are pet friendly. Conditions & Charge Policy applies.

Terms & Conditions

Payment Policy

A valid credit card must be provided at the time of booking.
A deposit equal to the first night’s full accommodation charge will be deducted from the credit card provided at the time of booking.
Bookings are always conditional upon the payment of the deposit at the time of booking.
Unless there is a prior arrangement with management, the balance is payable 28 days prior to the check-in date.
The balance will be deducted from the credit card provided.

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellations and refund policy depends upon a number of factors. Please carefully read the particulars below:

NSW School Holiday Periods
Cancellations 28 days or more prior to your arrival will entitle you to a refund of all moneys paid, less the first night’s full accommodation charge.
Cancellations less than 28 days prior to your arrival will not qualify for any refund of either the deposit or the balance paid (or payable).

Other Times of Year
Cancellations at least 8 days prior to your arrival will entitle you to a refund of any monies paid, less a $25.00 cancellation fee.
Cancellations 7 days or less prior to your arrival will not qualify for any refund of either the deposit or the balance paid (or payable).
A failure to show on the day of arrival will not qualify for any refund of the deposit or the balance paid (or payable).

Early Departure
At least 24 hours’ notice is required if you decide to vacate earlier than originally booked. Notwithstanding the required notice being given, you shall forfeit all monies unless the apartment can be re-booked for the entire duration, in which case the remaining monies shall be credited back to you, less a Cancellation Fee of $25.00. 

Changing Reservation Dates
Subject to availability, you may change the dates of your reservation without incurring any fee, provided you give us at least 30 days’ notice if your original booking was within the NSW School Holiday Period, or at least 7 days’ notice if your original booking was outside the NSW School Holiday Period.
