Margaret River Holiday Cottages

Syarat & Ketentuan

General
- Check in time is from 2pm and check out time is by 10am on day of departure.
- It is the responsibility of the guest to have the correct travel documentation such a visa or passport to under take this trip.
- Guests booking for 1-2 people in a 2 bedroom cottage are allocated 1 bedroom of the cottage. If these guests wish to access an extra bedroom, a flat fee of $50 applies. If 3 or more paying guests are booked in a 2 bedroom cottage, then the 2nd bedroom is automatically included.
- Extra Guests, including, infants, children and adults, that have not been pre booked are chargeable at $40 per guest per night (up to the maximum capacity of the cottage)
- There's no reduction in rate if no. of guests in a booking reduces.
- Overnight visitors: If the capacity of the cottage allows for an overnight visitor, they need to be booked in advance at $40 per night, minimum 2 nights (i.e. min. charge of $80 per guest)
- Day visitors are generally not permitted to ensure the safety and comfort of other guests
- Pets are not permitted without prior permission and the charge is $40 per pet per night.
- Due to health & safety regulations, the maximum occupancy per cottage cannot be exceeded
- Promotional codes cannot be used retroactively for existing bookings.
- All guests (international and domestic) are recommended to consider buying travel insurance
- Cancellations due to medical or family emergencies are considered a matter for medical/insurance professionals. Whilst we empathise with these issues we all face, as a small business we cannot cover the financial impact of these events.

- For the safety of all, guests are required to follow rules and regulations outlined at the property.
- A refundable cleaning bond may be levied our discretion and guests notified pre check in
- Upon departure, any cottages that requires more than usual cleaning may be charged a cleaning fee ($50 per hour on week days, $75 per hour on week ends / public holidays, minimum $100)
- In case of emergency, 1 guest per cottage must considered the lead booking and have provided their full name and a valid phone number prior to check in.
- All data is stored safely and not provided to any 3rd party. It may be used for communication purposes by Margaret River Holiday Cottages with the chance to opt out.
- Use of Promo Codes when booking must be booked online and are subject to availability. They cannot be used retroactively for existing bookings.
Payment & Cancellation Terms & Conditions
- Payment will be taken in line with cancellation policy with no prior notification unless requested.
- If payment cannot be processed, guest will be contacted and will have 24 hours to complete payment or the reservation may be cancelled which would forfeit any monies already paid.
- Payment by accepted Credit/Debit cards attract a 2.5% fee and bank transfers can be made with no fee for Standard Rates less any deposit taken at time of booking (on request).
- Guests cannot cancel a standard rate booking and book a.non refundable rate for the same dates
- Groups are defined as equal to or greater than 3-4 friends or family that constitute one travelling party with same travel dates requiring equal to/greater than 4 cottages.
- Group bookings must be made via contacting us directly as group bookings attract different terms and conditions and are generally not considered during WA/Singapore Holiday periods.
Amendments
- Extending a stay/moving a stay's arrival/departure within the originally booked period, or change room type are not considered amendments but are subject to availability/rate increases
- Amendments to bookings made outside of cancellation period are subject to availability.
- Deposits held can be transferred for a maximum of 1 amendment if the new booking is of equal to or greater value. Any further amendments would forfeit the monies held.
- Amendments made inside cancellation periods are not permitted
- Any change to a booking made via a 3rd party should be made with the original booking agent.

Kebijakan Pembatalan

- Cancellations for Timber & Brick Cottages are free of charge* (excluding holiday dates) until 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellations within 14 days charged at the total value of the stay.
- Cancellations for Gumnut Cottage made outside of 30 days prior will forfeit their deposit. Cancellations within 30 days of arrival day will be charged at 100%
- *Standard rates over School Holidays: travel during WA school and public holidays will be charged a non refundable 20% deposit after time of booking and the balance will be charged 14 days in advance for all Timber and Brick Cottages and 30 days in advance for Gumnut Cottage. Cancellations before prior to arrival will forfeit any deposit/payment taken.
Early Bird Promotional Rates (Non Refundable):
- Rates that are listed as non refundable will be charged 100% cancellation fee regardless of when the booking is cancelled.
