The Merton Hotel
The Merton Hotel is a locally owned and family run hotel with views of the city and harbour bridge.
We offer relaxed, comfortable and affordable accommodation 3km from the city and darling harbour .
Accommodation options include:
• 4 Queen rooms with shared bathroom facilities
• 1 Queen room with double bunk with shared bathroom facilities
• 2 Queen room suite with a private bathroom ( requires booking of 2 queen rooms with bathroom in the middle) by request and availability only
The whole floor may be booked out for family groups or friends up to a maximum of 12 people.
There are 5 rooms and two and a half bathrooms in total.
All rooms have TV, air con, ceiling fans and external windows, some with views over the city and Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Continental breakfast is included - cereal, fruit, juice, tea and coffee and toast.
**Please be advised that there is live music in the Hotel lounge/bar downstairs on Friday and Saturday nights from 8pm, you can hear the music upstairs, this is always finished between 11pm & 11.30pm, also some Sundays from 6-9pm - pretty good music too!
**Please be advised that the separate entrance to the accommodation is a little narrow with stairs (quirky old pub), we have had no problems gaining access for any of our guests; please contact us if you have any questions regarding this issue.
We also have a great bistro onsite-serving meals during hotel opening hours only-please check the website for further information.

Thank you for choosing to book your accommodation with us. Please ensure you read the information below to ensure your stay is enjoyable.
All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read all information on the website, understood the following Terms and Conditions and our cancellation policy.
We are a small family run hotel/pub, we invite you to contact us with any questions you may have - info@themertonhotel.com.au
Please note we do not have 24 hour concierge Check in is strictly between 2pm-10pm Check out 10.30am outside these times may be available by individual request only.
There is no smoking allowed inside the property. If there is evidence of such including a smoke odour you will be charged a fee up to $250 per room to cover the cleaning of curtains, carpets and extra laundry.
Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Any Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the guest's responsibility during their stay. The owner reserves the right to use existing payment facilities to compensate for Damage, Breakages or Theft to the property.

• It is essential that you enter your details correctly so that we can process your booking effectively.
Payment Policy
Valid credit card is required to secure the booking.
All payments are processed 1 day before your arrival date, as per our cancellation policy
Christmas Nye payment processed within 2 weeks of stay.
Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required by this property for cancellations or changes. Cancellations or changes made within 24 hours of check in time forfeit the full amount of the first night booked.

Please note bookings from 24th December -1st January cancellation policy is minimum 2 weeks for full refund.
