Morrison Cottage is a delightful original timber cottage built in the 1930’s with three large original timber-lined bedrooms; two with double beds and one with two single beds. It has been extended to accommodate a generous fourth bedroom, large fully equipped kitchen dining area which overlooks the large, sloping fenced back garden and magnificent views over the township of Albany. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, full oven and microwave. All cutlery and crockery is provided. It also includes a laundry with washing machine and dryer, separate toilet and bathroom with generous bath. Bedding and towels are provided. A large covered back verandah with barbecue and separate outdoor sitting area provide delightful outdoor dining and comtemplation areas.
We allow pets and the back garden is fenced, there is also a double garage allowing parking for two cars. We ask that you contact us to discuss your pet’s stay and we charge an additional $50 for additional cleaning. Please do not allow pets onto furniture or bedding.
The house is accessible off Serpentine Road, however the driveway here is quite steep, access is also available off the back lane which runs off Jeffries Road.
Things to do around Albany:
The cottage is very close (1 km) from the centre of Albany and the main shopping strip is on York St.
There are excellent cafes, restaurants, and other interesting shops on York St. There are a number of art galleries and exhibitions, particularly over the summer months. Albany boasts its own concert hall. Saturday morning farmer’s markets are open off Collie St at the bottom of York St and Boatshed markets are open Sunday morning located in the harbour area.
Outdoor activities include various beaches and National Parks, including Torndirrup National Park approx 30 kms from Albany centre. Places of interest in the surrounding areas include wineries, beaches in the wider Denamrk Albany area such as Elephane rocks and Grrens Pool and tall karri forests in the Walpole area.

Terms & Conditions
At Morrison Cottage we will make every effort to ensure the unit is available as booked. However we reserve the right to make alternations to the bookings due to unforeseen circumstances without penalty.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most of our guests will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
Parties and functions are prohibited. The tariff charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in additional payments charged to your credit card or immediate eviction.
The cottage must be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Damage, breakages, theft and loss are the guests responsibility during their stay, their credit card will be charged if on inspection, the unit is found damaged.
Disturbance of neighbors, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in immediate termination of rental and loss of balance of rent.
Check out time is 10am at the latest, to allow time to prepare the unit for our next guests.
A bond will need to be paid if guest is unable to provide current credit card details. Bond is payable at the same time as the balance amount. The bond will be refunded within 14 days in full, subject to the above conditions being met. It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements and also for extra guests beyond those declared.
This property is rented as short term accommodation and is not serviced until the end of the booking.
Pets are allowed with an addition $50 cleaning fee. Please discuss this with us prior to your planned stay.
Loss: The owners take no responsibility for the guest’s personal property.
Late arrivals after 8 pm will be able to access keys from the locked key container by the back door. If you will be arriving after 8 pm please discuss this with us and we will pass on the keycode.
Deposit of 50% is required on booking or the first nights fee, whichever is greater, to confirm reservations made more than 14 days before arrival date.
Reservations made within 14 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.
Credit card details will be required to secure booking for security . Credit card payments will incur a fee of 2.6% and out preferred means of payment is by direct bank deposit.

Balance of booking fee is due 2 weeks before arrival date .
If a booking is cancelled more than two weeks prior to the commencement of the booking, monies received will be refunded less a $50 admin fee.
If the booking is cancelled 7-14 days before the arrival date a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking will be charged.
If a cancellation is made 7 days or less before the booking or during peak holiday periods then the full amount will be charged at the manager's discretion.
