A boutique development with a variety of accommodation for all budgets, 4 unique luxury standalone self contained units, Carports and each with their own Hot tub,( PRIOR booking and ADDITIONAL charges apply) spectacular views to the mountains, plenty of parking, On site is our delightful 1930's carriage we have named (Gullie) just for 2 this has tea & coffee facilities only, also we have added in 2016 another cabin (named Maimai) for 3 people has also with tea and coffee facilities, The Gullie & Maimai have a shared bathroom and kitchen facilities with campers (we have a maximum of 8 people sharing the kitchen and bathroom).
Our converted Woolshed known as Musterer's Quarters accommodation this is for the larger group or family sleeps 8 also has its own private hot tub.(PRIOR booking and ADDITIONAL charge apply) The Small campsite with 4 powered sites (only a limited number of campers staying) unpowered sites also available all set within 6 acres on the Fairlie/Tekapo highway all units are separate with stunning views of the mountains ahead, Friendly animals, flying fox, and some farm machinery with a large walking track. 10 minute leisurely stroll to Fairlie Museum and Museum Cafe. Close to Lake Opuha for fishing and boating, 25mins to Lake Tekapo for star gazing and hot springs, Mt Dobson ski field 30 mins, Round Hill ski field an hours drive, Mt Cook 1hour and 20mins, and 2 hours 15mins to Christchurch.

The Gullie is a 1930's Carriage.
It has a double bed, electric blanket, all linen and towels supplied. Microwave, electric jug, toaster, cutlery, crockery, fridge, tea and coffee facilities only, heating, TV is DVD player. There is no running tap water in the Gullie. Free wifi is available.
It is a 30 metre outdoor walk to shared bathroom (1 shower and toilet in same room), there is a small basic shared kitchen facility and laundry available (additional fee applies).
Maximum of 8 people sharing facilities.
A communal BBQ area is available for all guests to use..
Lovely sunny drenched private deck with seating.

Peak Season As Follows:

All school holidays, Public holidays, Christmas, New year and Easter holidays.
Credit Card: An invalid credit card will incur your reservation being cancelled

Damage/Cleanliness:
We endeavour to offer the highest standard of cleanliness, if anything is not acceptable please notify management immediately so we can rectify. We ask
our guest to respect our facilities and leave units in a tidy state in readiness for cleaners. Please place any dirty dishes in dishwasher upon vacating. For
units in a messy state a charge may be imposed. Any damage due to negligence will result in a charge to rectify or replace the damage. Important:
If you leave this motel in an unsatisfactory state; this includes excessive rubbish, mess or odour in the kitchen, misuse of motel property (including
linens), any unhygienic soiling causing excessive and unwarranted cleaning time by staff, Musterer's Accommodation Fairlie reserves the right to charge for the cost of extra cleaning, repairs or replacements required to restore our guest rooms or property to their normal condition.

Damages/Loss: Any damage/loss caused to the unit or to the units chattels that is occupied by you, could result in costs of replacement or repair (and
any insurance excess) being charged directly, either fully or partly, to you the registered guest.

Noise: In consideration to other guests, please stop any noise by 10pm. Visitors that are visiting guests are to depart the property by 11pm
Refusal to be quiet may result in you being asked to leave this property and find other accommodation, without refund. If arriving late please be quiet in
respect to sleeping guests.

Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in all units. Do smoke away from the units We reserve the right and may charge such costs for cleaning due to lingering odours of the room and any resulting loss of income.

Extra Guest: Should there be extra guest that is not on your reservation this will be an extra fee of $50.00 per person.

Stolen items: We reserve the right to debit your account for any items missing from your unit following checkout.

Cooking Odour:
Please refrain from cooking any foods with strong odour including fish, Asian and Indian foods and the good old favourite steak and onions, if this occurs a charge will be made to remove odour, including any loss of occupancy.

Note: Please use outdoor BBQs provided for strong odour foods.
BBQs Please clean BBQs once finished in consideration to other guests.

Hot Tub:
These are a very popular option when staying at the Musterers in Fairlie, but not every guest wants one so if wanted we require all guests to pre book.
Hot tubs are not available with camp site bookings.
They must be booked by 2pm the day prior to arrival in the winter months and by 9am on the day of arrival in the summer. They are also an additional cost of $50 for the first night and $35 for each other night.
These tubs are for your use only and are available for the duration of your stay, they are cleaned each time between guests, please treat these tubs with respect . Children should be supervised at all times. Please remove steps when not in use. We no longer use the wood heating units so please do not attempt to light them, if damaged is done management will have the right to charge your credit card.
If these hot tubs have been lit without notification the owners will have the right to charge minimum $100.00 - $1000.00
Alcohol: If taking alcohol in the hot tub please use plastic wine glasses/cups as provided.

Payment Policy

No deposit is required.
Full booking balance is due on the day of arrival.
Credit Card: An invalid credit card will incur your reservation being cancelled
Payments by cash, cheque, and the following cards:
Visa Credit, Mastercard - no charge.

Cancellation Policy

If the booking is cancelled less than 1 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.
