TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. Check-In is 2pm and Check-Out is 10am. Early check in or Late check out extension may be available, please let us know in advance and we will endeavor to accommodate your request. The extension is charged at 25% of your booked room rate. The reception can hold onto your luggage until your room becomes available and until your departure.
2. The resort is strictly adults only, and therefore, welcomes guests aged 16 and over to stay with us.
3. Our Villa’s interiors are strictly no-smoking, a deep cleaning surcharge of NZD $300 will be charged to your card for non-compliance. outdoor smoking areas are available for your convenience.
4. Ocean Escape Resort reserves the right to charge for the full duration of the reservation, including in the event of guest booking incorrect reservation dates due to flight arrival or departure times.
5. 10GB complimentary Wi-Fi voucher will be issued upon your arrival, additional Wi-Fi can be purchased at the resort for an extra fee.
6. The resort is pet free.
7. Guests will be held responsible for any missing or damaged items in their Villa or any internal/ external areas of the resort. This liability extends to both registered guests and their visitors and will charged to the credit card on file.
8. Unless indicated otherwise, I agree to be sent Ocean Escape Resort email newsletter and any other exclusive discount offers.
9. Guests should ensure that their Villa door is properly secure at all times. Ocean Escape Resort is not responsible for items lost, misplaced or stolen within the Resort grounds. For your security. An in-room safe is provided in your villa and recommended for guest use. Please ensure all items are secure at all times. 24 hour CCTV Camera operates throughout the resort.
10. I have read and understood the Ocean Escape Resort Terms & conditions governing my stay in the resort and agree to abide by them.
11.By confirming this reservation, I hereby agree to the above reservation details and authorize Ocean Escape Resort to charge my credit card with amount outstanding on my account when I check out. I consent to this charge being made without signing the final invoice.

Payment Policy

PAYMENT POLICY
1. FULLY SECURE, your reservation, we require a 50% deposit of total booking value WITHIN 48 hours of your BOOKING CONFIRMATION.

We will contact you within that time to arrange this payment or alternatively, you can contact us. We accept payment by direct bank transfer or by Visa / Mastercard credit cards. Please note that all credit card payments carry a 3.5% administration fee.

2. DEPOSIT NOT received within 48 hours, Ocean Escape Resort, reserves the right to release your booking(s) from our reservation system.
3. BALANCE OF 50% PAYMENT: is required 14 days prior to your ARRIVAL at the resort. Your remaining balance will be processed automatically by the resort, when due using the credit card details provided on file, or if required by the Guest making an International bank transfer.
4. Airport transfer cost are not included in our room rate unless otherwise indicated by our direct booking specials.
5. Additional costs such as activities transfers, shopping etc. are to be paid during your stay.
6. Please ensure that you book the correct arrival date as we are on UTC/GMT -10hrs. Incorrect booking date will be charged in full.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY
COVID 19 FLEXIBLE TRAVEL POLICY Valid for all bookings.
BOOK WITH CONFIDENCE, if you cannot stay with us on your reserved booking date due to Covid issue, we offer the following options:

1. HOLD ON TO YOUR BOOKING:
Free change of date for your existing booking, Re-book for stay within the next 12 months, and we will hold and honour 100% of your deposit amount paid.

OR

2. CANCEL YOUR BOOKING:
For cancellation 30+ days out from your stay, we will refund 100% of your deposit.

1. CANCELLATION REFUND: For cancellations made within 30 days from your stay, we will refund 90% of your total deposit amount paid.

2. NO SHOW: Without prior notification will be charged at 100% of your booking.
3. CANCELLATIONS / DATE CHANGES: Must be made in writing, to the resort management at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Otherwise, 100% cancellation fee applies if within 24 hours.

5. TRAVEL INSURANCE: We recommend you purchase travel insurance for all other unforeseen circumstances that may result in cancellation or any other claim.
6. CANCELLATION OR CHANGES TO BOOKINGS MADE BY THE RESORT:
Whilst we endeavor to provide all facilities advertised, we will not be liable for compensation in the event we are forced to provide limited services, cancel or change your booking in any way as a result of situations outside our control which we could not foresee or avoid such as civil strife, industrial disputes, natural disasters, pandemics, war, terrorist activities, fire or flooding.
