Relax and enjoy our Resort Style accommodation by the beach! We offer comfortable Homestay Accommodation located on the northern coastal suburb of Ocean Reef.
The beautiful air- conditioned home is in a convenient location with spectacular ocean views and picturesque sunsets. You will love the resort style gardens which include lots of facilities for your enjoyment such as a refreshing salt water swimming pool, 6-person heated spa and alfresco dining area with a gas barbeque and pizza oven. There is also an outdoor bar where you can enjoy a drink and a chat or watch a movie on the 127cm (50-inch) television. For those who are looking to keep in shape there is a fully equipped gym room with television and music to keep you entertained while you work out.
Your stay includes communal access to our amazing gourmet kitchen, which has everything you need to cook up a storm. Our living room is sure to impress with pool table, dart board and another large television plus you will also have access to our theatre room with Netflix and lots of movies.
Your private bedroom includes a big television, air-conditioning, built-in robe, lockable safe, tea & coffee facilities and a choice of either private ensuite or shared bathroom.
For all your transport needs we offer several options with free off-street parking if you have your own car, shared use of bicycles, and even airport pickup at a small cost.
It is a 200-metre walk to bus services which will take you to Joondalup or Whitford Shopping Centre, as well as access to Hillarys Marina, and train stations for trips further afield including Perth city, Fremantle, Mindarie, Yanchep and the Swan Valley.
The home is convenient to beautiful beaches, including the popular Mullaloo Beach and a short walk to parks with barbeque facilities and playgrounds for the kids. There are many walking and cycling trails as well as many popular gyms nearby plus the internationally renowned Joondalup Golf Course is only 5 minutes away. A short Taxi drive will take you to many popular restaurants and other nightlife in Joondalup, Currambine and Whitford City, just to name a few.

Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions are intended for your safety and ease of use of our services. They should be read and understood before making a booking.. By making a booking with us, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Check-in and Check-out Times: Your room will be ready for you by 1pm on the day of arrival, and check out time is 10am on the last day of your stay.

Please keep us informed as to your arrival time, especially if arriving late.

Arrival: Your host will welcome guests and show you all the facilities available. There are also written instructions in the room.

Departure: When guests leave they must ensure all doors and windows are locked and the keys are returned. Please check that you take all your property with you as we cannot guarantee the security after you depart. We do try to contact you if you have left something behind and can arrange for their return if required.

Damaged or Missing Property: The person booking the room or the cardholder is deemed to be responsible for their actions and those of any of their party. Ocean Reef Homestay reserves the right to replace, with new, any missing, damaged or soiled items. Any additional cleaning will be charged appropriately and may include any cost for loss of business. The guest acknowledges that the charge may be debited from the credit card or charge facility used for payment of the booking.

Non-Smoking: For the comfort and benefit of our guests, Ocean Reef Homestay is a non-smoking establishment, however there is a smokers area outside for your convenience.

Guest Property: Ocean Reef Homestay and its staff do not accept liability in respect of any loss or damage to articles brought into the guest house. We also cannot accept responsibility for your cars while parked on our premises. Your car is parked at your own risk.

Lost Property: Lost property is held for a period of 1 month. It is the responsibility of the guest to contact Ocean Reef Homestay management to claim lost property. On request, lost property will be returned via a pre-paid and addressed Australia Post envelope or courier at cost.

Privacy: All personal details retained by Ocean Reef Homestay will be maintained according to Australian Law and will not be released to any third parties for any purpose whatsoever.

Changes to these Terms and Conditions: Ocean Reef Homestay has the authority and the right at any time it sees fit to change or modify all or any part of these terms and conditions.

Special Needs: It is the responsibility of the guest to advise the management of any allergy or special dietary needs. The building has not been designed to be wheelchair friendly and does not claim to be, nor is it suitable for disabled persons without their special carer present at all times.

Essential Services: Ocean Reef Homestay does not accept any responsibility for Failure or Interruption of Utilities and Essential Services but shall make every effort to contact the authorities to report such incidences. Furthermore, in the event that a faulty appliance is reported, Ocean Reef Homestay does not accept any responsibility for subsequent loss of amenity by the guest.

Computer Use: Ocean Reef Homestay accepts no responsibility for the propagation of computer worms or viruses transmitted from this site or through use of the wireless internet facility. Wi Fi access is available but not guaranteed. For security our password is changed regularly.

The above terms and conditions are deemed to have been accepted when the booking is made.

Payment Policy

30% Booking deposit will be charged. Full payment will be taken on your arrival.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 7 days before your date of arrival, you will be charged the 30% Booking deposit.

If cancelled or modified within 7 days of arrival or in case of no-show, 100% of the first night will be charged and if the booking is within a public holiday, long weekend, concert weekend or any weekend from December to March, 100% of the second night will also be charged.

Reservations made through a booking agency will upon cancellation attract said booking agency’s administration fee in addition to Ocean Reef Homestay fees & charges.

The Ocean Reef Homestay reserves the right to cancel a booking at any stage. All payments will be fully refunded in such an unlikely event.
