Payment Policy

A credit card is required to secure all bookings. Please note, all credit card transactions are subject to a surcharge. Unfortunately we are unable to process cheques.

Bookings through the GDS system require a corporate credit card or VCC at time of reservation which will be charged on arrival of guest or within the no-cancellation period. An invoice showing payment will be emailed to booker on guest departure.

Payment options: American Express, Debit Cards, Mastercard, Visa, VCC, Cash. We do not provide bank details for payment by bank deposit.

Payment will be taken within the no-refund period prior to the arrival date.

The terms and conditions as displayed in foreign languages are for information only. The terms and conditions as detailed in English on this website will take precedent in all matters including interpretation and meaning.

Cancellation Policy

At Pinctada McAlpine House the cancellation policy varies according to the time of year. From 1 May to 30 September, cancellations must be made 30 days in advance of the arrival date. For all other months, the cancellation policy is 14 days prior to arrival. Cancellations received within these periods along with "no show" bookings will be charged in full for the reservation.

We recommend travel insurance cover.

We would be most grateful if you would advise us of your arrival time when this information becomes available to you. Check-in is at 3pm. Should you arrive before 3pm we accept your luggage and will attempt to provide you with early access to your room, however please note that this is subject to availability.

As we do not operate a 24 hour reception, please let us know if you are arriving after 3pm to ensure we can arrange your access to the hotel after-hours.

We recommend either the transfer bus or the taxi service for airport transfers.
