Portside Apartments Maryborough is Queenslander style accommodation at its finest and is located in the Portside Precinct overlooking the Mary River. Built on the site of the first house built in the "new township of Maryborough" this building was a boarding house for the early settlers in the 1800's and has its very own historic story to tell being 128 years old. Each apartment is fully self contained with kitchen, bathroom, lounge & dining rooms and 2-3 bedrooms, front verandas and magical views of the River.
Maryborough is a town steeped in history and tells the tales of its captivating colonial past mixed with an artistic vibe everywhere you go. You can explore its stories from the past through striking art, statues, heritage buildings, memorials and museums surrounding what was once one of Australia's largest ports and best of all, staying at Portside Apartments places you right in the centre of it all!

The high ceilings and spacious rooms are welcoming and a much desired feature in a Queenslander style property. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, wardrobe, duchess, bedside tables and a window on to the front verandah. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed, wardrobe and bedside tables and adjoins the laundry. You do need to walk through this room to get to the laundry, bathroom and separate toilet. Bedroom 3 has a single bed and drawers. The kitchen is fully equipped with gas cooking. The sash, casement and shutter windows capture the beautiful river breezes and the views from the verandah of the river and the Portside Precinct are something really special.

Terms & Conditions

Maximum Stay: Portside Apartments Maryborough is 100% short-term accommodation business. Maximum length stay is 60 days, sorry no permanent or semi-permanent residents accepted. No permanent residents are accepted and the maximum stay length is 28 days.

Check-in time: is 2pm. Every effort is made to accommodate guests arriving before the check-in time.

Check-out time: Check-out time is 10am for all guests. Requests for late check-outs are subject to availability.

Child Policy: Infant 0-2 years inclusive (free of charge), Children 2-16 years, Adult 17 years and above.

Occupants: The quoted tariff is based on the number of adults and children provided at the time of booking. Should the number vary, the tariff may alter. All bookings must include one adult (over 18 years of age) in the reservation with all children to be accompanied and responsible for by an adult during their stay.

Management is accessible 24 hours a day in the event of an emergency.

Noise: At all times please consider your surrounds and the quiet enjoyment of other guests. A strictly enforced noise restriction applies at 10pm to ensure the enjoyment for all guests.

Smoking: The entire building is non-smoking. A smoking fee of $60 will apply and will be charged to the credit card provided.

Payment Policy

A valid credit card must be provided at time of booking. We accept prepayment by Credit card. Visa/Mastercard/American Express. Guests will be charged a prepayment of the total price at anytime. Bookings in school holiday/peak periods are required to be paid 30 days prior to arrival.
Upfront payment or payment plans available.
Credit cards will be held securely on file and will be applied to any unpaid account balances, mini bar, damage, excessive cleaning, or any other charge warranted by management.

Cancellation Policy

Guests can cancel free of charge until 30 days before arrival and 100% will be refunded within 7 days. Guests will be charged the total price if they cancel in the 30 days before arrival.
Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds for weather, natural disasters and external factors which may prohibit your stay. We recommend you seek independent travel insurance if you are concerned external factors may impede your stay.
