Port Douglas Motel
The Port Douglas Motel offers travellers comfortable, clean, quiet and safe accommodation in the heart of Port Douglas. We are a 2 minute stroll to the centre of town and a 3 minute walk to the beautiful Four Mile Beach.
This family owned and management Motel has recently been renovated/refurbished. Our Motel is the closest Motel to all that Port Douglas has to offer including the closest departure point for the Great Barrier Reef. Our professional, helpful and friendly staff will assist you in choosing reef tours and other tours including the Daintree Rainforest ensuring your stay in Tropical North Queensland is enjoyable and memorable.
The Port Douglas Motel accommodation offers a choice of a Queen guestroom or a Queen plus Single guestroom, suiting the single traveler or couples.
For those guests with a car we offer undercover parking. We also have a large fully fenced parking area on our adjoining property which is suitable for boats, campervans, caravans and the like.

Our recently renovated four bedroom fully self contained holiday house is in the centre of town; minutes to iconic Four Mile Beach and a minute's walk to Macrossan Street (the main strip). It has an outdoor pool and large dining area. It is located next door to the Port Douglas Motel. It is great value for money if you want to be in town!

Standard check-in times apply from 2pm. Reception closes at 5pm. If we have not seen you by closing check-in instructions will be left on front door.
Standard check-out times from 10am if check-out falls outside these times please contact reception the day prior to check-out
For stays of 7 nights or longer we offer a full room service midway through your stay. Additional towels and room supplies will be offered free of charge on request. Please inform the Port Douglas Motel in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Full service including Bed Linen mid-stay for 7 nights or more and then every 4 nights following.
Tours:
We have a full tour desk here at the Motel and are more than happy to help you book your tours prior to your arrival or once you arrive. Our staff are long term locals (30 years plus) and have a lot of experience with all the different tour operators for the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree National Park. One of our staff members even has worked as a dive instructor on a lot of the snorkeling boats from Port Douglas and is currently a part time skipper. We are not biased and do our best to get you on the tour most suitable for you. We highly recommend booking tours ahead of time to avoid you missing out.
Transfers:
We can help you arrange transfers for you either by shared shuttle bus or private transfer. All we need are flight details and arrival/departure times. The cost is approximately $51.60 to $60.00 per person one way on the shared shuttle and $210.00 to $260.00 per couple on the private transfer.
We highly recommend that you book your airport transfers no later than 72 hours prior to arrival.
We also recommend booking restaurants ahead of time also to avoid disappointment.

Visa or Mastercard accepted.
A 1.5% charge applies for payments made with a credit card and a 0.4% charge applies for payments made by eftpos.

Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be advised in writing to The Port Douglas Motel. All cancellations 5 days (120hours) or more from arrival day will not be charged.
For all cancellations received 5 days (120hours) or less (including no shows) prior to arrival will be charge 100% of the value of the total booking.
