Please note mobile phones Telstra and Optus work in Coober Pedy. Sadly Vodaphone does not.
Greyhound Am arrivals should call the day before to arrange early check inn
REX arrivals should call the day before to arrange airport pick up. and also call once the plane has landed.
There are no Taxis or public busses in Coober Pedy

MOTEL ROOMS have their own Toilet n Shower TV Fridge Tea n Coffee and hot water Jug and Wi Fi . (Underground rooms don’t have AC. As they use the ground to keep the temperature reasonably comfortable which is why half the people in Coober Pedy live in underground Houses Called Dugouts as there dug out of the side of the hills like the Motel Rooms. Please keep the doors closed and please don’t leave the bathroom fan on for longer than needed or the temperature will end up more like outside)

Dormitories and Budget Rooms use communal toilets and showers (Budget rooms are private rooms) (Dormitory's are not private rooms you could be sharing the room with other travellers.)
All Dormitories and some of the Budget Rooms are 34 steps down and 34 steps back up to the toilets and showers and communal areas. Please call us if you have booked or are planning on booking a Budget Room if you would like to choose down stairs or strait into the side of the hill.
Dormitories and Budget Rooms are very basic NO extras in the Rooms just Beds. You will have access to all the communal areas. Sorry no Wi Fi in the Dormitories and Budget Rooms yet but there is WiFi in the communal areas.
Restaurants and Cafes are about 5 minute’s walk from Radeka's and they close their kitchens 9 Pm some earlier.
We have communal areas such as Kitchen (fully equipped for those that want to cook their own food), TV / Dining room, Coin operated Laundry. Wi Fi is Assessable in these areas and the back car park and verandas.

Full payment is made on arrival. Credit card details are required at the time of booking to secure your booking.
Quiet time starts at 10 PM as it is a long drive to get here and a long drive to leave here
NO PETS in dormitories and Budget Rooms or communal areas.
PETS are allowed in MOTEL ROOMS ONLY and the back car park.

Payment Policy

Full payment is made on arrival. (Credit card details are required at the time of booking to secure your booking. Please read Cancellation Policy.)

Cancellation Policy

Minimum 24 Hours. Basically the day before the 1st night not the same day as the first Night. Please Call 08 867 5223 if you need to cancel or Change your booking Date/s. Or we will have to charge you for the first night and then cancel your booking the day after you failed to arrive.
The only exceptions for late cancelations or Date Changes we will accept are breakdowns, medical and family emergency’s Please Call us ASAP on 08 8672 5223 if the answering machine is on please leave a message. Please understand empty rooms when other people could have used them is bad for Business. We don’t have a magical money tree in the back yard or a crystal ball.
