Fabulous Property overlooking the Tasman Sea on the South Island's West Coast. Only 10 minutes drive to Punakaiki and the world famous Pancake Rocks.

Rataview building (sleeps 8) plus separate Cottage (book separately sleeps 4) can sleep up to 12 guests.

Fabulous walks plus a ‘must-do’ is having Pancakes at the Pancake Rocks cafe. Local attractions include Horse riding, canoeing the amazing Pororari River, surfing, white baiting, many walks including Croesus Track to Blackball (overnight hut), Truman Track and Cave Creek, Black-Petrel bird watching. Enjoy all the rest of the West Coast has to offer such as Denniston Plateau Mine tours near Westport, Tree-Tops walkway at Hokitika, Shantytown in Greymouth, Monteiths Brewery tour and tasting in Greymouth, Paparoa National Park, Shopping for local Pounamu (NZ greenstone). While the Pancake Rocks walkway is graded easy and is accessible, there are also more challenging tracks in the park, something to suit everyone.

Credit cards CHARGED IMMEDIATELY AT THE TIME OF MAKING THIS BOOKING. SELF CHECK-IN: You will be emailed the LOCK BOX Code to access door keys as there are NO RECEPTION STAFF. Please advise if you have not received these or have difficulty accessing emails due to traveling.
Credit cards are stored securely and may also be used for 'no shows', cancellations inside of the cancellation policy (normally 7 days, or 30 days for groups and holiday dates) , or incidents of damage, theft, additional cleaning, smoking inside, inappropriate behavior or breaching terms (refer to us for group and special event booking terms). Where no credit card is stored you will be invoiced and have 7 days to pay for the above items.
3% credit card charge will apply.
Use of facilities prior to check-in time of 2pm or after check-out time of 10am is not usually available.
Number of guests in your room is not to exceed the number made in the booking.
Bookings are for accommodation only - bookings for functions, weddings etc are to made directly with Rataview and different charges and T&C's apply.
No responsibility is taken for guests personal property left on the premises.
Written cancellation by email is required.
No refunds for pre-payments made by credit cards. If any refunds are necessary they will be subject to an administration fee.
Photo ID may be required for guests.
Camping allowed by pre-arrangement only.
Payment Policy
Payment will be charged to the credit card used to make the booking any time between time of booking and check-in.
