Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully. When you make a booking, you accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your confirmation documents are correct and to bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies within 48 hours of your booking.

BOOKINGS AND QUOTES
Bookings can be made online at www.Riverbush.com.au or by emailing stay@riverbushcottages.com.au.

CHECK IN & CHECK OUT
Standard check in time is 3.00 pm on the day of arrival and the room is to be vacated by 10.00 am on the day of departure.
Upon check out it is expected the Cottage will be left as you found it.
Please wash all dishes and place rubbish bags in the outdoor bins supplied.
Please leave out any broken items so we are able to replace them.

FINDING YOUR COTTAGE
- Enter in the main gate off of the highway
- Turn right
- Follow the arrow around to the left along side the grassed oval
- From here, the cottage name will be displayed on the sign at the front of each cottage
- Please ensure you check your confirmation for which cottage you will be in and arrive at the correct cottage

VISITORS
The accommodation may be occupied only by you & the number of persons stated on the booking confirmation. Visitors and their vehicles are not permitted on the property unless prior arrangements have been made with management via stay@riverbushcottages.com.au.

PETS
We do have one Pet friendly Cottage available but this is at Managements Discretion and subject to availability, please email management at stay@riverbush.com.au

BEHAVIOUR
Parties or gatherings are strictly prohibited unless prior arrangements have been made with Management.
Disturbance to other Riverbush guests and neighbours including disruptive noise and excessive drinking is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund. If a noise / behavioral complaint is received a first warning will be given, if a second complaint is received this will result in immediate eviction with no refund.
*Failure to comply will result in attendance from SAPOL*

REFUSAL OF ENTRY
Management reserves the right to refuse return guests who have caused damage or disruption to the property and its guests on a previous stay and/or guests who have been evicted from other accommodation providers for same reasons or criminal behavior.

AFTER-HOURS CALL OUT FEES & LOSS OF KEYS
If security has to be called out to Riverbush Holiday Cottages for a lost key; noise complaints or anything else that there is an $150.00 call-out fee that will be charged to the guests credit card on file.
*Loss of keys will incur a further $60 replacement charge*

TRAVEL DURING COVID-19 EPIDEMIC
If government restrictions are placed on domestic travel due to the impact of Covid-19, we will provide a free change of date to your booking or provide a voucher for the full value of your booking. All other cancellations will be subject to our normal cancellation policy.

SMOKING
There is strictly no smoking in the property. If there is any evidence of smoking inside the accommodation you will be charged an additional $250 for a specialised clean to eliminate odours.

LOST PROPERTY

Riverbush Holiday Cottages is not responsible for any property left by a guest at the premises (Please check all wardrobes and drawers before vacating the property). If items are found after departure, Riverbush Holiday Cottages will hold the item for one week. After this time, items are donated to charity.

Guests are to contact Management via stay@riverbushcottages.com.au to discuss pick up or postal return.

LIABILITIES
You acknowledge that we do not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses and disruptions due to electrical storms or other acts of God caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control and agree not to make any claim in relation thereto.

BREACH OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You agree that, should you or your guests breach any of the terms and conditions:
You will pay to us the total loss or damage that we suffer as a result of that breach and hereby authorize us to debit your credit card or apply your refundable deposit in payment of that loss or damage and we may evict you and your guests without notice.

Payment Policy

PAYMENT POLICY
- 50% of the booking fee is required at the time of booking.
- Full payment is required 14 days prior to arrival.
- For bookings made within 14 days from the date of arrival, 100% of the booking fee will be required at time of booking.

Reservations are not considered confirmed until the deposit is taken to secure the booking.
*If credit cards are invalid or declined your booking is not confirmed and Riverbush Holiday Cottages reserves the right to cancel the booking.
*If payment is not received by the due date, Riverbush Holiday Cottages reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Additional charges
Additional charges will incur for the following; breakages, damage to the property, missing items*, late departure, additional linen used, lost keys and extra cleaning including but not limited to smoking & pets.

*Any items removed from the property which are the under ownership of Riverbush Holiday Cottages will be considered stolen and the cost of the item charged to the credit card on file. The total charged will be dependent on the item itself and at the discretion of the Proprietor.
Furniture, fixtures and fittings are not to be altered or moved between rooms or cottages on the property. There will be a charge incurred if furniture is not returned to its original location.

RATES & CHARGES
Rates quoted are in Australian dollars and are subject to change at any time. Rates are inclusive of GST where applicable.
The price of your accommodation cannot be guaranteed until the deposit is received or if booking online full payment is required at the time of booking.

*All credit card charges will incur a 1.95% surcharge*

Cancellation Policy

STANDARD CANCELLATION & CHARGES
The full tariff is required 14 days prior to arrival. If you cancel your booking 14 days or more before your scheduled arrival there will be no charge*(excluding Peak & Group bookings).

If cancelled or modified 14-7 days prior to arrival a 25% cancellation fee will be applied and the remainder will be refunded.

If cancelled or modified 7-0 days prior to arrival the full tariff is non-refundable.

*Peak Season – A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking.
Dates include School Holidays, Public Holiday Weekends, Easter, Christmas and New Year Holidays*

*Group bookings of 3 cottages or more require a non-refundable 50% deposit at the time of booking with the balance charged 30 days prior to arrival*
