Terms & Conditions

SALT @ SOUTH WEST ROCKS IS A NON-SMOKING PROPERTY AND IS NOT PET-FRIENDLY.

By making a reservation at Salt at South West Rocks, you accept on behalf of your party the terms of these booking conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of the details on your reservation confirmation are correct and bring to our attention any errors or discrepancies immediately.

A Guest Compendium is located in each villa to provide you with useful information about our property and South West Rocks.

CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT
Check-in time: 2.00 pm
Check-out time: 10.00 am
Early check-in or late check-outs - are on a request basis and are subject to availability, additional charges may apply if you do not check-out at 10.00 am.
On check-out, please ensure all villas are free of rubbish, and dirty dishes are placed in the dishwasher, and it is turned on to avoid additional cleaning charges.

SECURITY DEPOSIT
Credit card details required at time of booking may be used to cover incidental items such as (but not limited to) any breakages, damage or losses incurred during your stay and cleaning charges in excess of the normal level of cleaning.

NUMBER OF GUESTS
At no time during your occupancy is the number of guests staying to exceed the number booked, unless prior approval is sought and given. The use of extra beds will attract an additional tariff. Any persons exceeding the maximum occupancy of the property will be considered trespassers and will be evicted.

SMOKING
Smoking within the grounds of Salt at South West Rocks is strictly prohibited. If there is any evidence of smoking inside, or within the grounds your booking may be terminated with no refund. You will also incur and your credit card charged for a minimum cleaning fee from $350 and up to $750 in accordance with the villa category.

PETS
Pets are NOT permitted at any time.
If pets are found on the property, the booking will be terminated, and guests will be asked to vacate with no refund., You will also incur and your credit card charged for a minimum cleaning fee from $350 and up to $750 in accordance with the villa category.

BREAKAGES OR DAMAGES
Your accommodation will be returned to us in the condition presented on arrival.

Damages or breakages of furniture or furnishings MUST be reported to Salt at South West Rocks Management immediately.

Breakages or damages to the property (including all communal and external areas) that are caused by any guest and/or a guest’s visitor will be charged and recouped in full from the guest’s credit card.

Excess cleaning required on departure or replacement of items removed from the accommodation will be charged to the guest’s credit card.

Furniture, fixtures and fittings are not to be altered or moved between rooms or villas. There will be a charge incurred if furniture is not returned to its original location.

If any furniture, fixtures, fittings or décor items are missing from the villa, your credit card will be charged for the replacement cost of the item/s.

Salt at South West Rocks Management must be informed of any problem or complaint as soon as possible as to rectify the situation as quickly and as efficiently as possible. You must allow access to the property for service consultants to undertake repairs during reasonable hours. We will notify you and confirm the day, date and time of the appointment. We will arrange access if you are not available at the designated time.

CLEANING
On departure, your accommodation is to be left in a clean and tidy state. Extra cleaning charges will apply if this condition is breached and your credit card will be charged a rate of $100 per hour.

BEHAVIOR
We want to make your stay an enjoyable one and as a consideration for other guests we have a no party policy, unless prior arrangements have been made with Salt at South West Rocks Management. We appreciate your understanding in not causing any disturbances to other guests during your stay.

BREACH OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You agree that, should you or your guests breach any of these terms and conditions:
1. You will pay to us the total loss or damage that we suffer as a result of that breach and hereby authorise us to debit your security deposit/credit card as payment of that loss or damage.
2. We may evict you and your guests without notice.

Payment Policy

NON-REFUNDABLE RATE BOOKINGS
* Full payment is required at time of
booking.

GROUP BOOKINGS - 3 OR MORE VILLAS
* A 10% non-refundable deposit is
required 60 days prior to check-in, and
will be processed automatically on this
day.
* Balance of payment is required 14 days
prior to check-in, and will be processed
automatically on this day.

ALL OTHER BOOKINGS
* Full payment is required 14 days prior to
check-in, and will be processed
automatically on this day.

If a deposit or final payment is not received by the due date, Salt at South West Rocks reserves the right to cancel the reservation.

Payments are accepted by direct deposit or credit cards. Accepted cards are Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

Visa or Mastercard card payments will incur a 1% fee.

American Express card payments will incur a 1.7% fee.

EFT fund transfers do not incur a surcharge. EFT Payments are to be deposited to:

Cancellation Policy

NON-REFUNDABLE RATE BOOKINGS
* A 100% cancellation fee applies, if the
booking is cancelled or modified.

GROUP BOOKINGS - 3 OR MORE VILLAS
* Free cancellation up to 60 days prior to
check-in.
* A 10% cancellation fee applies (of the
entire reservation cost), if the booking is
cancelled or modified up to 14 days
prior to check-in.
* A 35% cancellation fee applies (of the
entire reservation cost), if the booking is
cancelled or modified within 14 to 7
days of check-in.
* A 60% cancellation fee applies (of the
entire reservation cost), if the booking is
cancelled or modified within 7 days to
24 hours of check-in.
* A 100% cancellation fee applies (of the
entire reservation cost), if the booking is
cancelled or modified within 24 hours of
check-in.
* A 100% cancellation fee applies (to the
remaining reservation cost), if the guest
departs earlier than their original
check- out date.

ALL OTHER BOOKINGS
* Free cancellation up to 14 days prior to
check-in.
* A 25% cancellation fee applies (of the
reservation cost), if the booking is
cancelled or modified within 14 to 7
days of check-in.
* A 50% cancellation fee applies (of the
reservation cost), if the booking is
cancelled or modified within 7 days to 24
hours of check-in.
* A 100% cancellation fee applies (of the
entire reservation cost), if the booking is
cancelled or modified within 24 hours of
check-in.
* A 100% cancellation fee applies (to the
remaining reservation cost), if the guest
departs earlier than their original
check- out date.
