Situated in the middle of beautiful Port Stephens , SAMURAI has multiple options to facilitate a cruisy visit to Port Stephens.

Stay in one of four Asian-style bungalows set amongst three acres of lush rainforest and native bush gardens, surrounded our beautiful lagoon style salt water pool. Each bungalow has a wide timber verandah with ample seating and table areas—a tranquil space to view the jungle surrounds, native wildlife, and garden statues.

Every bungalow is built a bit differently. One bungalow has two adjacent rooms both being 6 bed bunk rooms, with a open verandah, this bungalow is next to the communal amenities block with two toilets and three showers. Two other bungalows are comprised of two adjacent standard rooms—hired separately—with an open verandah and shared bathroom. The fourth bungalow is two Ensuite Queen Rooms, both with a private verandah and ensuite bathroom.

Book Exclusive use of our property. You and your group will be the only ones there, great for Family gatherings, sporting groups, small weddings etc. All the rooms listed on our site will be included in this booking up to a maximum of 32 guests. 2 x Queen ensuite rooms, 4 x family rooms and 2 x 6 share bunk rooms. A room layout can be emailled to you to better see how your group will fit. You will have access to our swimming pool, bush kitchen, campfire (in season) and "The Shed"
A cash bond of $1000 is required for all bookings paid on arrival.

A Bunk room in true backpacker style. Unwind, meet travellers, and sleep in one of our comfortable Backpacker Bunk Rooms. —these six-share hostel rooms are spacious, clean, cheap, and seriously cosy. Relax, chat, or just lounge and enjoy the garden view from the wide verandah. Book just a bed for yourself or your friends. We will try our hardest to get you all in the same room. (subject to availability with prior bookings) No one under the age of 18 unless all 6 beds are booked with the same group

Children (17 and under) are not allowed in bunk rooms unless the whole room is booked by one booking. Every booking must have someone who is 18 years or older.

Payment Policy

All bookings require a 50% deposit .
Group Bookings - Private Retreat :
Balance will be processed 7 days before check in.
$1000 bond is required via bank deposit 7 days prior to arrival.
Individual room bookings balance is to be paid at check in.

Cancellation Policy

Group Bookings - Private Retreat Cancellation:

All Bookings require a 50% deposit of which $500 is non refundable.

If you cancel your booking 30 days prior to your check in day the balance of your deposit will be refunded less the non refundable amount of $500.

If you cancel up to 15 days before 50% of your deposit less $500 will be refunded.
Cancellations between 14 days up to 8 days 25% refunded less non refundable amount.

Balance of booking is processed on day 7 and no refund is of your booking will be available.

Individual room bookings Cancellation Policy

More then 21 days prior to arrival - deposit refunded less a $25 cancellation fee.

21 to 7 days prior to arrival - deposit refund is subject to our re-letting the confirmed accommodation less a $25 cancellation fee.

Less then 7 days to arrival or No shows - no refund of deposit.
