Tanja Lagoon Camp sits on the edge of a wild coastal lagoon, surrounded by the Spotted Gum forests of Mimosa Rocks National Park on the Sapphire Coast of NSW. Featuring four self-contained luxury safari tents, two eco-cabins and a meeting place. We invite guests to reconnect and immerse themselves in nature.

Our safari tents and eco-cabins are designed to have minimal footprint on our environment and allow you to co-exist with the nature that surrounds you. Each eco-cabin and safari tent features a spacious en-suite bathroom, full kitchen, gas barbecue, a large private deck overlooking the lagoon, a lounge area with sofa, writing desk and a pellet heater for the cooler months. Our luxury safari tents have a handcrafted queen size bed while our eco-cabins a luxurious king size bed. Two of our rooms have accessible features including step free and large entrances, roll in shower with seat options and ample wheelchair rotation space.

Inclusions:
Rates include free use of canoes and kayaks, firewood and a light selection of lovely local produce items for your first breakfast (muesli, milk, bread, honey, tea, coffee, sugar). Kitchens are stocked with salt/pepper, olive oil. All linen and basic toiletries are provided.

Rates are based on 2 adults.

Additional Costs:
Twin Share an extra $50 for the full stay, subject to availability and overall camp capacity.
Triple Share Price is calculated at an additional $75 per/person, per night and subject to availability and overall camp capacity. Only available in Buru.
Children (3 to 18yrs) sleep in swag, a traditional Australian canvas bedroll with a thick mattress made-up with quality sheets, quilt and pillow. Child in swag bedding is subject to swag availability and overall camp capacity and an additional $25 per/child per night, max 2 per cabin/tent or 3 in the family tent.
Children in Buru the family tent are welcome all year round, children in all other tents & eco-cabins only during NSW/ACT school holidays.
Infants (under 3 years) – are not catered for
Exclusive use of Meeting Place - Commercial Kitchen, toilets, showers, spacious lounge & dining area, accessible wheel chair access, large outdoors deck.
Exclusive Camp Use: 6x Eco-Cabins & Luxury Safari Tents, exclusive use of Meeting Place with commercial kitchen, additional bathrooms, laundry, spacious dining & lounge area and large outdoor deck.
Maximum capacity: Deluxe Safari Tents x2, Spoonbill & Lomandra, Eco-Cabins x2 Burrawang (accessible) & Samphire & Luxury Safari Tent Malaleuca, can all sleep double or twin or double and up to 2 children in swags.
Buru family accessible tent can sleep double, twin, triple or double & up to three children in swags.
Maximum camp capacity for exclusive use bookings is 25 guests (more by negotiation)
Total number of rooms is 6 with 4 luxury safari tents and 2 eco-cabins.

Check in: 14:00, check in’s only on Monday, Tuesday & Friday. Or any day during ACT/NSW holiday periods.
Check out: 10:00 (late check out negotiable)

Cancellations:
Bookings cancelled 30 days prior to arrival – 50% of the total booking cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.
Bookings cancelled 48hrs or less prior to arrival – 100% of the total booking cost will be charged as a cancellation fee.

Damages, losses and guest responsibilities –
a) Tanja Lagoon Camp (TLC) will endeavour to take all possible care but accepts no responsibility for damage or loss of equipment, merchandise or other property left on the premise during and after a guests stay. We advise that guests arrange their own insurance to cover such damages and /or losses.
b) Guests are financially responsible for any damage sustained or loss incurred, to the property, fixtures or fittings.
c) Guests accept the physical risks involved in staying in this natural setting.
d) All children under 12 years old are required to be supervised by an adult at all times. There are dams on the property and the tents are situated close to the lagoon.
e) When using TLC canoes life jackets must be worn at all times.
f) During their stay at TLC, guests are expected to abide by the principles of Leave No Trace camping – Respect wildlife, Leave what you find, Dispose of waste properly, Minimise campfire impacts, Be considerate of other users – please keep noise levels low, please do not play music audible by others.
We do our best to create a wilderness experience however, the property has nearby neighbours.
