- We now provide a self-check in from 2 pm onwards. This self-check in is received in the form of a text message on the arrival day , please use the gaol hotbox at the front of the gaol if you need assistance. Please be sure to provide an Australian mobile number when booking.
- Check out time is 10 AM. Late checkout will incur another nights fee.
- If office is closed, please leave keys in key slot.
- Please leave all dirty linen in your room upon departure.
- Cleaning fees will be deducted from your credit card if your room smells of smoke, has been damaged or requires excessive cleaning upon your departure.
- A cleaning fee also applies if guests do not use the mattress protectors, two sheets & pillowcase provided on each bed.
- NO alcohol is to be consumed on gaol property unless purchased from our bar. Please note that a cleaning fee will apply if alcohol containers are found whilst cleaning. This charge will be deducted from the credit card supplied.
- The owners and management of The Old Mount Gambier Gaol do not accept any liability for the loss and or damage of personal possessions or property.
- Please note after sighting of room and payment of accommodation NO refund will be given if guests choose to leave.
- All children welcome. Children under 2 years are free when sharing booked beds.
- One child under 2 years is free of charge with access to a porta cot (when available).
- Maximum number of porta cots/ cribs in each room is limited to one.
- Free private parking on site is available for all guests.
- Strictly NO pets/ animals allowed on the property.

Norme di pagamento

1. A credit card must be supplied to make a reservation, payment will be taken on the day of arrival.

2. Please note after sighting of room and payment of accommodation NO refund will be given if guests choose to leave.

3. Group accommodation will be issued an invoice for a 30% deposit to be paid to secure the booking. Remainder of payment to be made on day of arrival.

Norme di cancellazione

1. All accommodation cancellations must be submitted in writing to administration@theoldmountgambiergaol.com.au

2. Accommodation guests cancelling their booking within 48 hours of due arrival time will incur a cancellation fee equal to one nights accommodation for each bed or room booked.

3. All accommodation cancellation charges and refunds will be processed using the credit card details submitted to secure original booking. All refunds will be processed within the following three business days.

4. Any cancellations made for accommodation over a public holiday period will require 72 hours or three days’ notice of cancellation. Any cancellations within this time period will forfeit 100% of the booking monies already paid.

5. If accommodation guests do not cancel their booking and do not check in within The Old Mount Gambier Gaol business hours on the due day of arrival a cancellation fee equivalent to one night’s stay per bed or room booked is applicable. If the guest’s accommodation booking is for more than one night, The Old Mount Gambier Gaol reserves the right to cancel the remainder of your booking and enable other guests to book it for their use.

6. Alterations to accommodation bookings may be made before 48 hours of travel (except over public holidays) at no charge. The Old Mount Gambier Gaol will endeavour to accommodate any requests made within this time frame.
