Terms & Conditions

*Check out is 10am and check in is at 2pm. Availability of rooms prior to check-in time on the date of the reservation cannot be confirmed unless we have availability.
*There is no reception desk over at The Barracks. To ensure smooth check-in and that staff are available to greet you, we request you arrive at 957 Tocal Road. Please turn in at the white picket fence gate entry and make your way to the top of the driveway, at the "The Barracks" sign where our caretaker will meet you here at 2pm or at a time that you have already communicated.
*We do reserve the right to cancel or modify any reservations where it appears that a guest has engaged in fraudulent or inappropriate activity or under other circumstances where it appears that the reservations contain or resulted from a mistake or error.
*To maintain the highest standards and for the comfort of all our guests smoking inside or around The Barracks is not permitted. We have designated areas on the site where you can smoke (near the Homestead and the Function centre). As you can appreciate, there are quite a few historic barns made out of wood.
*Parking is provided on the gravel car park behind The Barracks.
*We have provided complimentary consumables for you. If, however, you are inclined to keep something else from the rooms, please bear in mind that we operate as a not for profit organisation and will ask that you recompense us so we can replace the item.
*Pets are not permitted to stay at The Barracks or its grounds.
*Biosecurity risks prevent anyone from attending site that has been in contact with pigs, within 48hrs of their arrival.
*The Barracks are not suitable for children under the age of 13 however we do have accommodation on the Tocal College side for families with children.
*The number of guests must not exceed the number stated at the time of booking. Your room must be left in a satisfactory clean and tidy state on departure. An extra cleaning fee will be charged to your credit card if excessive cleaning is required.
*Any loss or damage of property belonging to The Barracks will be charged to the credit card held on file unless alternate card details provided. Lost property will be held for approximately 3 months and can be returned by COD via Australia Post on request.
*The use of Tocal Pool when available is offered during your stay and is undertaken entirely at the pool user’s own risk. Pool users must satisfy themselves that they have taken reasonable precautions to ensure their safety. The Community Pool DOES NOT have a Lifeguard and does not accept liability for any injury or death to any person whilst using the facilities. See compendium in room for full Terms & Conditions.
*In response to COVID-19, additional safety and sanitation measures are currently in effect at this property. The health and safety of our staff and guests remain our top priority and we have taken all precautions to ensure you are well looked after on your stay. If you have Covid-19 symptoms or have been in close contact of a suspected case, you should review your travel plan and follow the advice from the NSW Health authorities to self-isolate and get tested immediately. We advise guests to keep up to date with latest covid restrictions by visiting www.nsw.gov.au , we appreciate your co-operation.

Payment Policy

Payment is requested at the time of booking to secure your accommodation.

Cancellation Policy

* Should you need to cancel or modify your booking please note that any changes to the arrival date, departure date, or room choice for your reservation is subject to our availability at the time the change is requested.

* If cancelled or modified up to 14 days before date of arrival, no penalty will apply.

* If cancelled or modified 14 to 7 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of the total price of the reservation will be charged.

* If cancelled or modified within 7 days or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

* If you do need to make changes to your reservation please call Reception during business hours on 02 4939 8901 or for after hours assistance contact our onsite Caretaker on 0499 185 248.
