Terms & Conditions

Dear Guests,

Thank you for booking with The Clarendon Guesthouse and Theatre. Our desire is for you to have the very best experience of the Blue Mountains, our accommodations, theatre and other services. To assist us in delivering you that experience we have developed the following policies and guidelines which we respectfully request that you adhere during your stay.

Payment Policy:
Pre-payment & non-refundable.
The guest will be charged the whole payment they cancel their reservation anytime.

Terms & Conditions:
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT
Guests must carry photo identification to check-in. We reserve the right to check photo identification.

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage or soiling, caused by accidental, deliberate, negligent or reckless act of the guest to the property or structure.

FIRE ALARM PENALTY
Smoking within our guest rooms and within enclosed public areas is against the law in NSW; Due to the sensitivity of the smoke alarms, we strongly suggest that you close the bathroom door during shower, avoiding steam generated by hot water as well. A penalty fee of $1776 may occur if NSW fire brigade responds to the smoke alarms.

PETS AND ANIMALS
No pets and animals are allowed within our guest rooms.

EXCESSIVE NOISE AND INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR
To ensure all guests enjoy the comfort and safety of the facilities, we uphold a strict policy towards excessive noise after 11 p.m.
Should any action by a guest be deemed inappropriate, we reserve the right to take action against the guest which may result in, but not limited to, being asked to leave without a refund for any services incurred.

Breakfast : Not included in the rate while welcome to order for continental breakfast when check-in, in usual circumstances

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy will be either 1, 2 or 3 as below:

1: Non-refundable. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel after reservation.
Unless otherwise expressly stated, No changes or cancellation will be allowed for public holidays, Christmas time and promotional bookings, local festivals: Ukulele Festival, North Face Run, Winter Magic Festival, Elvis Festival, UTA and any "Other Events" etc.,

2: 7-day Free Cancellation: The guest can cancel free of charge until 7 days before arrival. The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 7 days before arrival., or

3. Others : whole pre-payment of the reservation in the 60 days before arrival, Advance Deposit or non-specified*.

If it is non-specified in booking details/conditions, it would be non-refundable . (The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel after reservation.)

And, any changes to bookings (subject to availability) will incur a $40 handling charge additionally.
