The Dudley Boutique Hotel

Fusion of Art, Heritage, Tradition and Nature

Built in the 1930s, this original Miner’s Hut has been re-interpreted to become an elegant luxury boutique hotel and a host to an impressive exhibition of contemporary art. The Dudley Spa Studios sit on the same property and provides guests absolute privacy and luxury.

In 2020, The Dudley Boutique Hotel on Forest Avenue has been fully renovated and refurbished to a luxury standard.

Why The Dudley?
An awarding winning hotel, within 5-minute walk to the Hepburn Bathhouse Complex, (literally) a stone’s throw from Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve and only a 5-minute drive from Daylesford village, The Dudley is perfectly positioned for your getaway.

With only a total of 6 rooms: -
4 fully serviced Guest Rooms (Two Queen Rooms, a Heritage King Room and a versatile King/Twin Room) which are beautifully appointed with private ensuite bathrooms and located within the main hotel building.
2 fully serviced Dudley Spa Studios with private ensuite bathrooms are available in the next building/unit on the same property.
Guest areas in the main building include a Dining Room with floor to ceiling double glazed windows, looking out into the garden beds and greenery. Other areas include a spacious library with a study nook for the working traveller and a cosy lounge with an Honour Bar where guests can savour the taste of local beers, gins and liqueurs. Both the library and lounge feature open fireplaces and the lounge opens into a covered alfresco area, with the view of the forest behind. All guest areas are fitted with central air-conditioning and heating.
The Dudley Team is available throughout the day.

On one side, there is a wardrobe and pantry with sink, an Espresso coffee machine, microwave and bar fridge with complimentary bottle water, soft drinks and snacks. In the centre of the studio there is a cosy lounge area with a Gas Log Fireplace and a SMART TV. The Studio is looking over a private balcony into nature. The private balcony is equipped with table and chairs and ceiling fan.
The en-suite has a 2-person spa bath with a shower over the spa bath.
NOTE: It is a high step over spa bath for shower and not ideal for Guests with limited mobility.

No Pets allowed (except service pets, please contact us in advance to advise).

The Dudley only accommodates guests 18 years old and above - No infants or children.

We accept EFTPOS, VISA and MasterCard.
Credit Card details with Driver's Licence are to be provided upon check-in.

Bookings via OTA's (Online Travel Agents) which are paid by the OTA VCC (Virtual Credit Card) and Gift Certificates, a Pre-Authorisation on a Credit Card of $100 per night will be required at check-in.

Smoking is not permitted inside the Hotel and Spa Studios - Please refer to The Dudley Team for the designated Smoking Area.

Breakfast is served from 8:00am to 10:00am.

Payment Policy

FOR DIRECT BOOKINGS ONLY
To secure your booking a 50% deposit is required. Booking deposit payment is required upon initial booking via VISA or MasterCard.

NOTE: Early Bird Packages' payments are in full at the time of booking and non-refundable.

The remaining 50% (full payment) is required on the day of arrival.
Charges for any additional services or products will added to your account during your stay and full payment of such will be required upon check-out.

Bookings via Travel Agents and OTA's (Online Travel Agents), please refer to their Payment Policies.
Bookings which are paid by the OTA VCC (Virtual Credit Card)and Gift Certificates, a Pre-Authorisation on a Credit Card of $100 per night will be required at check-in.

Cancellation Policy

FOR DIRECT ACCOMMODATION BOOKINGS
Cancellations more than 14 days prior to check-in will incur a $100 cancellation fee per room booked which will be deducted from the initial deposit. A credit for the deposit remainder will be issued.
Change of stay dates are allowed at a $100 fee up to 15 days prior yo arrival date.

Cancellations between 14 and 7 days prior to check-in will require a 50% cancellation fee. This amount represents the full deposit which you have already paid. Should the 50% deposit be outstanding this amount will be debited from your account.
Change of stay dates are allowed at a fee of $250.

Cancellations within 7 days prior to check in will require a 100% cancellation fee for each night booked. The Dudley Boutique Hotel will debit the full amount of your booking less any amount which you have already paid.
No change of stay dates allowed within the 7 days prior to check in.

We encourage you taking out Travel Insurance for unexpected changes that may happen to your travel.

SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS
For Special Arrangement bookings the following applies:

- If special arrangements have been made for catering (for example the ordering of celebration or birthday cakes), packages that include pre-purchased booking fees (for example tours, treatments, etc) are cancelled within 7 days of check-in payment in full for theses items will be required.
