The Cobb Hotel
The Cobb Hotel has historic associations with Palmerston North - it was the city's first school. In 1890, the school was relocated and the building converted into a hotel, and has been popular for both local residents and visiting guests.
Our 15 rooms are comfortable and tidy. They have en-suite bathrooms, tea/coffee making facilities and Sky TV. Located just off the square, it is an easy stroll to shopping and inner city attractions.
The Cobb bar downstairs is one of the most popular bars in town, serving great food and a awesome gaming lounge.
We are the perfect destination for anyone looking to stay and enjoy the great daylife and nightlife and sporting events in Palmerston North.

Terms & Conditions
Check out time is 10am the following morning. Late checks outs are subject to availability.
All rooms are smoke free. Smoking is only permitted on the upstairs balcony, and the two smoking areas downstairs in the bar.
All visitor in guest rooms must vacate by 10pm. Please be considerate to other guests by keeping the noise down to an acceptable level
Free car parking is available adjacent to The Cobb Hotel, however we will not be liable for any damages to vehicles or property.
Children under the age of 6years old stay free
The guest acknowledges responsibility and liability for the cost of any damage, soiling, or contamination and/or resultant loss of income caused by them to The Cobb Hotel. All bookings require credit card details to be provided on check in. We will not charge this credit card unless there are any unpaid accounts or damage to the rooms. If the guest does not have a credit card, a $50 bond will be required and will be returned upon a successful room check.
Check in times are Sunday till Wednesday 1pm-9pm Thursday & Friday 1pm - 10pm Saturday 1pm-10pm
Payment Policy
Rooms must be paid for upon check in.
Cancellation Policy
At least 24 hrs notice is required to cancel your booking without incurring any penalty. If less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the first nights accommodation. If we receive no notice at all, the full cost of the stay will be charged to the credit card.
