THE MAISONETTE
We are a small, locally-owned property situated in one of Sydney's best neighborhoods - Potts Point.
We offer a personal approach to make you feel at home and work hard to ensure your stay in Sydney is enjoyable.
The Maisonette offers genuine hospitality and value for the independent traveler.
Sydney Harbour and Sydney Opera House are a short scenic stroll away through the Royal Botanical Gardens.
In our neighborhood, you will find some of Sydney's best-known restaurants, cafes, and bars.
There are also many eclectic boutiques, vintage, and design stores.
You don't need to travel far to find the best coffee, the best meal, the best cocktail, or that unique piece of vintage.
Everything is a hop, skip and jump away!
The Maisonette welcomed its first guest in 1929.
At this time Sydney Harbour Bridge was well underway, and Sydney became international destination for foreign travelers.
Our rooms have been styled to draw on elements of this era and are cozy and comfortable.

ROOM SERVICING:
Our rooms do not offer daily housekeeping. If you require fresh towels or replenishing of amenities, please contact our team.
If your stay is for 8 nights or more, we will arrange servicing of your room mid stay.
ACCESS TO THE MAISONETTE GUEST ROOMS AND GENERAL AREAS:
For the safety and security of all guests - only persons who are registered to stay at The Maisonette are
permitted on the property.
Our property is monitored by our security team and anyone choosing
to ignore this will be ask to leave the premises.
IDENTIFICATION:
All guests staying on the premises are required to provide a valid photo identification document
such as an Australia drivers license or passport upon arrival.
If you are arriving outside of our front desk hours, you will be required to send a copy prior to arrival.
SECURITY DEPOSIT:
A valid credit card must be available prior to check-in.
We may choose to take a security deposit for your stay to cover incidentals and damage.
Your card may be pre-authorised in the sum of up to $200.00.
Once you depart this pre-authorisation will be cancelled if there is no outstanding money owed and the room has not been damaged.
PARKING:
Our property does not have onsite parking.
We do have an arrangement with a local parking station for a daily rate of $25.00 for 24 hours.
If you require parking during your stay, please let our team know upon arrival.
NON-SMOKING:
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on our property.
Failure to refrain from smoking will incur a fee of $200.00.
COVID SAFETY:
By choosing to stay with us you agree to follow directions of NSW Health & our team
which may include physical distancing, wearing a face masks and using hand sanitiser.
We are all responsible for keeping each other safe during the Covid-19 pandemic.
KEYS:
All keys must be returned upon check-out. A fee of $100 is payable per lost key.
PERSONAL ITEMS:
We do not take responsibility for any loss, damage or destruction to any personal property
brought onto these premises..
PRIVACY: For your safety or if Management suspects a breach of terms and conditions, we reserve the right to enter your room.
CCTV cameras operate in common areas, and footage is reviewed as required.
It is prohibited to record (including by not limited to: audio, video, photography) our staff in any area of the
property without permission.
Payment Policy
All bookings require a valid credit card guarantee at time of booking.
The credit cardholder must be present upon check-in.
Payment will be taken three day prior to arrival.
If your stay includes any nights of 30th, 31st December or 1st January, full payment is due at time of reservation.
Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION AND CHANGES:
Any booking modifications, including date changes and/or a full cancellation of your booking, must be made by 2 pm, 48 hours prior to your arrival date.
Any changes made later will incur a fee equivalent to the value of the first night booked.
All changes are subject to availability and any applicable rate increases.
NO SHOW POLICY:
Failure to arrive at the property on the booked arrival date will be treated as a no-show and the remainder of the booking will be cancelled.
A charge equivalent to the first night of the booking.
NEW YEARS EVE BOOKINGS:
If your booking includes any dates of 30th December, 31st December and/or 1st January in any calendar year, by default have a non-refundable policy. This clause supersedes any other cancellation policy.
