Tidewater Motel and Tourist Park is a locally owned an operated business. The owners Kelvin and Shelley Robinson will go the extra mile for you to make sure your stay is enjoyable.

We have 6 motel units and can sleep up to 33 people in the back packers area.

The owners are in the process of doing up the place, all the motels and dorm room are being revamped., new carpets, paint, furniture in some areas .

The Outback is a stand alone cabin near the back of the property, this cabin can sleep up to 6 people. Contain 1 x King Bed (this can be split into 2 singles) and 2 sets of bunks.
All linen and Towels are provided and comes with a small deck at front. Has access to call shared Facilities.

Parking at front for a car and Boat.

Terms & Conditions

When booking accommodation at Tidewater, we do require a credit card at time of booking. This will be charge14 days prior to arrival (as per the payment policy) and we will ask for a copy of that card on check in.
This card will be held on file and maybe use for any breakages and or damages to our property or any other breaches of our terms and conditions. Tidewater also reserves the right to withhold your property in leu of payment.
Please note that some rooms may have more beds in them that you have paid for, should other beds bed used within your unit, you will be charged at $35.00 per bed, this will be charged to your credit card after your rooms have been checked by management.
Please do not place any personal items, bags and clothing onto the unused beds, should these become soiled then a $35.00 charge may occur.
Soiling of any bed within the Tidewater Complex will incur a $200.00 fee.
All Motel and Dorm rooms are to be left in a reasonable condition, we ask that you do all your dishes in both the Motels and Shared Kitchen, any unreasonable mess may incur an house cleaning charge.
In The Dorms, only use the the beds that are allocated to you and the linen that comes with that bed, extra charges maybe charged if linen is used from another bed. No food is allowed to be consumed and or stored in the dorm rooms.
All motel and dorm rooms are not allowed chilly bins to be placed on the floors (carpet).
All paying guest are to be mindful of others and there is no noise after 10pm. Outside lights are on a timer and will go out at 10pm.
Coromandel Town is very big into recycling, so we would ask all guests to use the correct bins that are provided.
At present Coromandel Town is on a complete water ban for the use on any outside taps and hoses. We also ask that you be mindful of your general water use.

Payment Policy

All payments are required 14 days prior to arrival.

Payments will be charged to your credit card with a 3% surcharge, if you don't want to be charge this fee please contact us prior to the 14 days and we will give you our bank account details to deposit your payments into.

Large groups bookings may require a 50 percent deposit that is non refundable, this is at the owners discretion.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation is free up to 14 days prior to arrival. If not cancelled within that time, charges will be incurred.

Cancellation of a booking may also not be possible, should you book out the last room. This will be advised at time of booking and full payment on a credit card or by direct credit can be asked for. In this case the14 day cancellation policy is deleted from this contract.
