Tonic Hotel
ABOUT TONIC - Our aim for a boutique hotel is simple-a place of uninterrupted relaxation and style. A place where we would want to be a guest!!
We selected a spot close to Sydney (having moved from there seeking a country life) with great vineyard views. We built a modern Australian design, based on the style of an outback shed, with corrugated iron, steel, glass and aged timber. We added every luxury from designer furniture to heated floors.
tonic is small and private - only 8 secluded guest rooms.
SUITES - We offer 6 big rooms with king size beds and en suites offering huge showers, deep baths and double sinks. Maximum 2 adults
2 BEDROOM APARTMENT - A great place where 2 couples (or 4 girls - a great place for a chicks weekend) have all of the above + full kitchen, lounge and dining area with fireplace. A huge balcony looks over the stunning vineyard vista. Your own little world.
OUR STYLE - Our style is modern, a definite no chintz zone. Polished concrete floors teamed with cowhides and soft fluffy rugs. The colour schemes are fun and the furniture simple, elegant and contemporary. Every room is styled differently allowing us to have great fun with the décor.
TONIC LOUNGE - We built a lounge for guests to chill or to host group and corporate functions. We made it a room you would want to spend time in. The walls are hand painted stripes and the furniture easy. Think 20 guests for sit down lunch or dinner or more for a cocktail style affair. tonic lounge could host your 40th birthday or the corporate think tank. Book all 8 tonic rooms and the lounge is on the house - do with it what you will !!
OUR SERVICE - Our service is non invasive - an electronic key pad on the door set to a pre arranged code allows you to come and go as you please. There is no traditional check in or check out.
LOCATION - Tonic is set in Lovedale. The home of the Lovedale Long Lunch. It is the sister area to Pokolbin and is in itself a great destination, wineries and stylish restaurants offering modern Australian cuisine abound. Golfing, ballooning, walking, wine tasting.
TONIC MASSAGE - In room. We offer a range of services, from massage to manicure and pedicure. A blissful way to recharge the body and soul. Please note that this is subject to availability and recommend as much notice as possible be given.
Tonic is adults only. No children under 15.

Our Terms & Conditions
Check in/check out: for weekend bookings arrive no earlier than 2pm on day of commencement and leave no later than 11am on concluding day; mid-week bookings arrival and departure by arrangement but leave no later than 10am on Friday.
Smoking is not allowed inside Tonic rooms.
No additional guests allowed.
No party or function is to be held on site without prior written consent of the owner. If any unauthorised party or function is held a minimum function fee of $500 + GST will be payable by the booking party and debited to his/her credit card.
Bookings made through our website constitutes your acceptance of our "Terms & Conditions"
The Hirer is the person taking and accepting responsibility for the Hire of the room/s and/or apartment. Our Terms and Conditions as set out below:-
The Hirer agrees / accepts that smoking is not allowed inside the rooms, guest lounge or apartment and therefore accepts full responsibility and liability for any damage to room/s, guest lounge and/or apartment or any personal injury to themselves or others resulting from smoking inside.
The Hirer agrees to keep room/s and/or apartment, its furniture, fixtures & fittings in the same state of repair & condition as at the commencement of the hire (reasonable wear and tear accepted).
The Hirer agrees to leave their room/s and/or apartment in a satisfactorily clean and tidy condition during your stay and at the conclusion of the booking.
The Hirer agrees that any of her / his group members including pets, and or those who are legally allowed onto the property, shall pay a replacement value & or repair cost for any furniture, fixtures & or fittings being damaged during the term of the hire.
The Hirer agrees that any of her / his group members, and or those who are legally allowed onto the property, shall pay a replacement value & or repair cost for any linen or towelling damaged as a result of the use of fake tan or similar products.
The Hirer agrees that the persons visiting or occupying room/s and/or the apartment at Tonic Hotel will not exceed the number of persons indicated on the confirmation letter, unless agreed upon by the management.
The Hirer agrees that the management of the Tonic Hotel will not be held responsible for any loss, theft or damage of any personal belongings during their stay.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of booking: if more than 28 days’ notice is given, payment less 10% of tariff is refunded but if less than 28 days’ notice is given, payment less 10% of tariff is refunded only if equivalent substitute booking is obtained. (For special weekends and group bookings of 4 or more rooms - Lovedale Long Lunch, Easter and other long weekends etc - the 28 days is extended to 56 days.)
Payments on bookings for Hunter Valley concert weekends are refundable (less 10% of tariff) only if equivalent, substitute booking is obtained.
