Explore 640 acres of pristine bushland by foot, bike or four-wheel drive, then return to a magnificently-appointed lodge and enjoy breathtaking views of the New South Wales Hunter Valley, Barrington Tops, and even the Pacific Ocean.
Just over an hour’ s drive from Newcastle, Valley View Luxury Retreat is a stunning country haven amongst an expanse of beautiful pristine bushland, populated by Australian flora and fauna –including kangaroos, wallaroos, echidnas, crimson rosellas and other bird species including wedge-tailed eagles. Set your own pace: enjoy a bushwalk or a ride along one of the local four wheel drive tracks; drink in the views from a six person outdoor spa on your own private deck, or sink down into the leather recliners in the living room and choose a DVD from the wide selection to watch on the flat-screen TV. Valley View is also centrally air conditioned throughout and boasts a slow combustion wood heater for the cooler months. Wi-fi is available at request.

Check in/out time
Check in time is at 2.00pm on the date of arrival, and check out time is up to 10.00am of the date of departure. Late check outs are subject to availability for an additional fee.
Valley View can sleep up to 10 people in four bedrooms.
Two of the bedrooms are king-sized with large flat-screen TVs and DVDs. These beds can be split into two single beds if requested.
The third room has a double bed.
The fourth room has a double and a single bed.
The cabin is also equipped with a fold-out lounge, which can be used for a twelfth person.
Payment Policy

Cancellation Policy
Thank you for choosing to stay at our luxury retreat. Upon booking, a deposit of 50% of the total amount owing will be payable. This amount is non-refundable for change of mind. The second payment of 50% of total is due 7 days prior to your arrival. Further to this, a refundable security deposit of $400 will be collected. This security deposit will be refunded within 48 hours of your departure as long as there are no damages or breakages and all terms and conditions have been adhered to.
Should you decide that you wish to cancel your booking at any time after deposit is received, you do so with the understanding that the deposit will NOT BE REFUNDABLE unless we are able to re-book the dates to another guest.
Should no other booking be received for the dates you have cancelled, unfortunately, your deposit will not be refundable.
