Set on 300 secluded oceanfront acres with its own sandy beaches and sensational views to Kangaroo Island, this gorgeous (and pet-friendly!) 4.5 star architect-designed beach house is the winner of many national and state tourism awards including Best Deluxe Accommodation in Australia in both 2014 and 2016. Yondah was also inducted into the South Australian Tourism Awards HALL OF FAME after being named Best Deluxe Accommodation in South Australia for three consecutive years in 2014, 2015 and 2016. In 2017, Yondah won for the fourth year in a row.

Yondah sleeps 6 + 2 guests in three spacious air-conditioned queen bedrooms with three sparkling designer bathrooms. Bedrooms 1 and 2 feature a supremely comfy queen-size Sealy Posturepedic bed dressed in quality hotel-style linen, an ensuite bathroom, a Smart TV and outdoor deck. There is also a fold-out innerspring bed (cleverly disguised as an ottoman) which can sleep a third person in each of these bedrooms. In Bedroom 3, the queen-size bed splits into two single beds when required and there is a small TV with DVD player.

The living room features a soaring 4m curved ceiling, a romantic open fire, split system air conditioning, and LCD SmartTV with Blu-Ray DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality appliances, a full-size fridge, and a front-loading washing machine and tumble dryer. Outside there are BBQ faciliities, 4 separate decks with sensational views in every direction and an outdoor hot water shower. The house is serviced by mains power, solar power, rain water, landline phone and NBN satellite internet.

But the best thing of all is Yondah's wild oceanfront setting. You'll just love soaking in the stunning ocean views to Kangaroo Island and basking on the most beautiful beach on the planet (well maybe we're a bit biased, but Yondah really does have a spectacular sandy beach surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs).

LOCATION:
Yondah Beach House is privately located on the wild, southern coast of Yorke Peninsula in South Australia. An easy 3 hour drive (320km) from Adelaide, it is only 26km from the popular seaside town of Marion Bay and one of South Australia's tourism jewels, the spectacular Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park.

PETS:
Yondah Beach House is genuinely pet-friendly so beloved K9s (and other pets) are welcome inside. With so many oceanfront acres to explore, Yondah really is a dogs’ paradise!

1 OR 2 BEDROOM OPTION:
We try to keep Yondah affordable, so in LOW SEASON (which is anytime outside of school holidays, public holidays and long weekends), we offer a special rate where you only pay for the bedrooms/bathrooms you need. You'll still always have EXCLUSIVE USE of the property and full access throughout the house (we don’t like locked doors either) but this means that if you’re a couple, you'll simply choose the 1 Bedroom option. If you’d like to invite another couple to join you, you'll choose the 2 Bedroom option. Too easy!!

There are also 2 innerspring fold-out beds (at an additional charge of $20 per bed per night) so the house can sleep a maximum of 8 guests. Terms & Conditions

Thank you for considering Yondah Beach House for your holiday on South Australia's beautiful Yorke Peninsula. We look forward to making your stay a happy and memorable one!

Minimum Stay - We generally have a minimum stay of 4 nights (this helps us amortise the high cost of cleaning in a remote location), but shorter stays to fill booking gaps often occur so look for these on our online booking system. During High Season, we may request a minimum stay of 7 nights.

Mid Season - SA school holidays, public holidays and long weekends
High Season - 24 December to 31 January and Easter
Low Season - All other times

We require a deposit of $500 or 30% (whichever is greater) to confirm your booking, then the balance is payable 8 weeks before your arrival date. If you make your booking within 8 weeks of your arrival date, full payment will be required at that time.

Security Bond - A $500 security bond is required to cover incidentals and/or property damage/loss. This is payable before arrival as a credit card authorisation (like a hotel) and will expire within 3 business days of departure.

Inclusions - Our rate includes cleaning plus all bed linen, bath towels, hand towels, bathmats, and tea towels. Standard NBN satellite internet access is also included.

• Bookings are firm only when your deposit has been received and acknowledged
• The maximum number of people permitted access to the property at any time during the rental period is 8 unless a function has been booked
• The only people permitted to stay overnight at the property are paying guests
• The owners and staff accept no responsibility for loss or damage to guest property during the rental period
• Excess cleaning charges will apply if the house is not left in an acceptably clean condition
• This is a non-smoking property - smoking inside the house will incur a minimum cleaning fee of $400
• In the event of an equipment breakdown or power cut, we may offer a replacement stay or other benefit as compensation
• Guests must observe SA bushfire regulations and fire bans at all times and ensure that children and pets do not disturb wildlife

Payment Policy

We require a deposit of $500 or 30% (whichever is greater) to confirm your booking, then the balance is payable 8 weeks before your arrival date. If you make your booking within 8 weeks of your arrival date, full payment will be required at that time. We accept phone and online payments by Visa, MasterCard and EFT or cash.

Cancellation Policy

GENERAL CANCELLATIONS
For a small accommodation business like ours, a cancellation can result in an empty house and no income. Therefore, if you cancel your booking, we cannot issue a refund. Instead, we will do our best to re-sell your cancelled dates without incurring an economic loss. If successful, we will transfer the value of your booking less any outstanding balance and less a $100 admin fee, to a new booking at either of our houses (Yondah Beach House or Seafire Beach House). Please note that if you cancel your booking close to your arrival date, we may have to reduce the re-sale price of your cancelled dates and this will in turn reduce the value of your credit so the earlier you let us know the better! Minor date adjustments (eg. adding a day or moving your dates along by a day or two) are usually possible subject to availability, but changing all your dates will be treated as a cancellation. No refund or credit can be given for non-arrival, unused services, cancelled guests or unused nights. We strongly recommend the purchase of travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances that may result in the cancellation of holiday bookings.

CANCELLATIONS DUE TO COVID-19
If your booking is cancelled within 7 days of your arrival date or during your stay due to an unexpected and sudden government-mandated lockdown or border closure that directly affects one or all of the dates you have booked, we will provide a credit equal to the full value of your booking (with no admin fee deducted) to a new booking within 36 months at either of our houses (Yondah Beach House or Seafire Beach House) subject to availability and our usual booking terms and conditions. Any non-arrival, unused services, cancelled guests or unused nights that result from any requirement to isolate or quarantine due to Covid-19 will be treated as a General Cancellation (see above).
